I loved the atmosphere of a grand hotel in a grand place. It stands at Place Forum and is part of a Roman Forum!

I liked the location and the "Starry Starry night" atmosphere--Which, unfortunately is now being ignored by management. Mamagement was not as friendly as they were on past trips.

Staying at the Nord Pinus hotel was truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. It's romantic charm and history makes it a memorable stay. Very clean and well appointed rooms and friendly service. We would like to say a big thank you to our host Christina.

It was beautifully positioned in Place de Forum which has a lively selection of cafes and restaurants. You are 5 minute walk through the intriguing narrow and winding streets of Arles to most of the tourist attractions like amphitheatre and Place de la Republique. The hotel has a long and interesting history which is featured throughout the lobby with pictures, letters and stories of past guests.The decor is marmite, you will love or hate it. A real mish mash of varied artwork adds to the character and ambience of this boutique hotel. Staff were so helpful, friendly and patient especially if you were keen to practise your French. The price of 175 euros per night was very high for the room we were staying in. It was very small, a concrete floor in the bathroom with no tiles( maintenance work) and a leaking bath (v slippy floors). One other niggle for me was no mirror in the bedroom. I guess you are paying for the location and history of the hotel. It was noisy at night especially over Friday and Saturday with people heading home from the square. Breakfast again I felt was extortionate at 22 Euros each for the usual suspects of a boiled egg, basket of bread, yoghurt and tea. All in all it was a lovely weekend and the experience of staying here was very romantic and would be ideal for a weekend getaway or honeymoon. It is not for the prudent and there are MANY other much more reasonably priced hotels in the same area that are equally as historic and charming.

Fantastic location right next to a central square and near to the amphitheatre etc. Old fashioned classy french hotel complete with vintage french elevator. Not cycle friendly at all. Upon arrival after a long cycle the manager burst out of the hotel to tell me we couldn't lean our bikes against the hotel while we checked in but must either chain them up in the square (not recommended due to risk of theft) or pay €8.50 per bike to store them overnight in her garage. Not a great welcome and neither was the €5 cost of a 33cl beer but there's no denying it is a classy hotel in a fantasic location and so I would stay again despite the frosty reception.

Accueil très limite car--choisissant toujours des hôtels ayant un garage --nous n'avions pas précisé que nous souhaitions mettre notre voiture dans le garage de celui-ci. Nous n'avions pas vu que cela était indiqué sur votre site . Cependant l'accès à ce garage est très difficile (rues étroites) et les manoeuvres nécessaires à l'intérieure sont plus que périlleuses! Sans parler du prix (17E/jour )! Bref nous avons préféré laisser notre voiture dans un parking de ville ! Mais quelle perte de temps et quelle incommodité . Cet hôtel est en plein coeur de ville mais sans recul ,sans jardin ; la terrasse est sur la bruillante place du Forum ; il n'y a pas d'autre choix ;
