We stayed in two rooms with our teenage daughters next door. We loved the old city of Lille and sites, shops, cafes and train stations close by. We were in Lille to tour the Western Front Battle fields (tour by Western Front Tours - highly recommend). the rooms were beautifully appointed and the staff were great. |

View of Grand Place.Good Breakfast. Free local taxi. Website describes hotel as having air conditioning.Initially shown room with no a:c and was told that no rooms had working a:C. Room shown looked on to narrow deep internal well with extractor vent fronm restaurant at base.AN Unpleasant room with no means of fire ESCAPE.Wished to leave hotel but told we could not cancel.Later saw 4 other rooms ,found one acceptable. |

The Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location is excellent. The room is functional. Great hotel for the money. The bed is quite hard. this may not be an issue with others, but I prefer soft and comfy bed. |

Great location Biggest complaint was no a/c despite 20C temps. Room unpleasantly warm. Hotel policy stated couldn't be switched from heating to cooling until May1st |

Had a large comfortable room. It was a very well positioned hotel for access to the city. The room had a small but OK shower room. It was a netural - not unfriendly but not welcoming environment. |

The hotel is centrally located within Lille, within easy reach of the shops, touristic attractions, restaurants and bars. Staff was extremely helpful. When we picked up our luggage on the afternoon of our departure, we found out that we had left a handbag at a nearby café. WIthin a matter of seconds, the receptionist had called the café to make sure the handbag was not stolen. |

The view of the Grand Place from the hotel room was excellent. Was given the same room as the last time we stayed and it has recently been redecorated so was very clean and fresh |

The location. I booked a Privilege room, however we were given a standard room facing the side street. This is the 2nd time this has happened with Booking.com either giving incorrect information or the hotel not giving guests what they booked. |

The room overlooking the Grand Place was fantastic, and the hotel's location couldn't be better. The bed was quite hard, which was surprising given the otherwise excellent state of the room |
