Location great for Eurostar travellers, comfortable beds, room safe, mini bar,tv,hairdryer all you required for a weekend break. Breakfast was nicely displayed and plenty to chose from, in pleasant surroundings. The staff were welcoming and obliging. A very clean hotel. There was nothing we didn't like at all, but it is disappointing that they don't have a restaurant. |

It is convenient for Wi-Fi in all area of hotel. The service staffs are very good. The location is good for shopping. The bathroom is too small and sometime the heater is not efficient. The breakfast is same in all days (I stay 4-5 days). |

I liked the decor, the general style of the hotel, the nice furniture, the peaceful bedroom, the fact that it is close to the railway stations. The breakfast room, it was too cramped and did not have windows, may be the roof could be made of clear glass ? |

Location excellent for city visit. Within easy walking distance of Lille Eurostar station and Lille Flanders station. View from rooms overlooking the Grand Place is very good. Others may not be so good, if you want a good view then make sure that you book a room with a view of the Grand Place or otherwise you might only have a view of a wall! Did not try the hotel breakfatst but many good places to eat nearby. Bed firm rather than soft, ok if you like it that way. Bathroom good. Air conditioning a bit noisy but can be shut down from the wall controls |

The bathroom was nice. The room was in desperate need of an update, peeling wallpaper doesn't look good. The rooms at the back of the hotel overlooking the stairwell are very dark and dingey. |

The friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Also the size of the room was a bonus. We liked it so much that we have booked again for next year. |

Wonderful room overlooking Grand Place. Double doors (French windows) to balcony ensured quiet nights. |

The only redeeming feature of this hotel was its location - it was in the centre of town. This truly was an appalling hotel. The tone was set when we arrived and the receptionist demanded to see our passports and a credit card! On this trip we had stayed at 6 hotels and crossed over 6 countries and not once did we meet the same inhospitable, untrusting, inflexible attitude. Our room although clean was a complete mixture of furniture from MFI to antique topped of by the ceiling was an industrial style suspended polystyrene tiled affair. Our 'belevue' was a fire escape! The breakfast room was entered through a pair of tatty aircraft hangar style sliding doors and the room itself was in a poor state of repair not at all conjucive to eating in. The lift looked attractive but had simply been 'window dressed' again it was old and tatty |

It is central to everything and all in nice walkable distance. I am not a well hotelled type but I took my wife away for a weekend and my first impression as you walk in and the corridors are all decked out in a continental sumptuousness which gave it a nice romantic feel. The bathroom in room 101 was a nice marble. There is a cocktail bar next to the hotel which was lively for a nitecap. The net curtains could do with a freshen up. |

We stayed in two rooms with our teenage daughters next door. We loved the old city of Lille and sites, shops, cafes and train stations close by. We were in Lille to tour the Western Front Battle fields (tour by Western Front Tours - highly recommend). the rooms were beautifully appointed and the staff were great. |

The Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location is excellent. The room is functional. Great hotel for the money. The bed is quite hard. this may not be an issue with others, but I prefer soft and comfy bed. |

Had a large comfortable room. It was a very well positioned hotel for access to the city. The room had a small but OK shower room. It was a netural - not unfriendly but not welcoming environment. |
