Good atmosphere, lovely, not casual design of rooms.. Another things Paris gives to you.. =)) Location: good, 100m to the nearest metro station ''Chatelet'', 80 m to the nearest mini-market (shop), 1000m (10 minutes) to the Notre-Dame de Paris, 800m (8 minutes) to the Musee du Louvre, 700m (7 minutes) to the nearest rer station (train from airport) (''Chatelet - Les Halles") Hotel staff: Friendly, there is one Russian woman on reception. Nothing special.. Only Good emotions))

I liked that it was close enough to walk to the sights, the Louvre, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Musee d'Orsay, the Seine, the Halles and more. It was also just one block from the Metro. My friend and I took the Metro to La Defense and walked all the way back, throught the Arch de Triumph, and down Champs de Elysse. Excellent location for touring. Most of the staff was friendly, patient and tolerant of my not speaking French, while others were a bit rude.

Charming older hotel with traditional decor. Excellent central location yet tucked out of the way and very quiet. Courteous staff. Expanded continental breakfast and Wifi a bonus. The "superior" double room was still quite small, yet completely adequate for our needs. The bathroom was a generous size, tho, and robes and slippers were a nice surprise.

Excellent organisation of the Hotel; Superior rooms are decorated to a high standard showing great furnishing taste. The location close to one of the many exits from the main metro/RER station Chatelet makes the hotel an excellent base for travelling in and around Paris. The proprietor visits every day and checks that everything is perfect. The visit was a delight, once again.

The location. We were going for a week and they gave us a 1er floor room wich was very noisy at night and in the early hours. The shower is very small and not for handicapped mature persons. The halls are runned down and from your room you hear every noise from the other rooms. I could not recomended the hotel. They dont have much of the facilities they say they have.

Perfect location near the Louvre, Marais, Notre Dame, Pompidu. Balcony rooms are well worth - not a view of anything particular but jsut a roof top view. Rooms 503 - 505 have bigger balaconies, 502's is small but still nice. Rooms are quirky in architecture and interior design. All around a great place. Nothing. Was great value for the $.

Very good location close to Notre Dame and the Marais, although it's actually in a back street. Excellent local restaurants (La Robe et le Palais and Benoit) nearby. Comfortable enough and would be great if either breakfast was included or the price was reduced by about 30%. Skirting boards very dusty, rooms rather small and hotel too expensive for the quality and standard of accommodation, especially since breakfast is not included (and overpriced).

The geographic situation is excellent. The price is really good in the center of Paris. Nice furniture, helpful staff, good breakfast. No elevator between the 5th and 6th floor with a very narrow, spiral staircase.

The location was great as it's near to the exit for the metro station. However there are quite a few exits for the metro line and all with reference to Chatelet. It would be great for a traveler not familiar with the city to know which exit to take. The standard map of the city does not have Rue Jean Lantier listed and it was a trying time for us to find the hotel since we are not sure where the orientation of our location is once we get to Rue de Rivoli and Rue de Rivoli is such a long road. The only posted map of the city with Rue Jean Lantier road listed was only located near the Novotel Hotel metro exit sign. We were lucky to find one map that had the road name.

Location is excellent staff are always excellent and helpful It is begining to feel tired and Paris is too expensive our weekend visiting the opera was as expensive as a trip to nyc to do the same thing from the uk. Our fondnest for Paris is being challanged by price. Berlin and New York much cheaper. We will return when we have saved up!!!!

Disastrous experience in an awful hotel. Rooms are extremely tiny, plastic flowers and dust everywhere, and very unpleasant service, despite the fact that I didn't choose the cheapest deal, but the "room with balcony".... over 200 Euros a night.

I thought it would be ideal to be close to Cite Island and Les Halles. But, the close proximity didn't mean much compared to other 2-3 stars in further location. CLOSSNESS still doesn't give them any Very defensive, and, often guest-blaming hotel staff, with no international mentality to deal with international guests. One of the staff even didn't mind confront the guest, when bad manners were reported. Tiny little breakfast space, has to wait till the tables are cleared. room was not cleaned once, and, although requested, safety box wasn't fixed. Body-challenging small guest room size, and poor storage space. Noise, ventilation, overheating issues. No English TV Channel(or an updated Channel guide list) Elevator, no good for two grownup men to stand in comfortably. Breakfast, very basic. the building located at the back street of an entry-level commercial strip of Rue Du Rivoli, the street is crowded with homeless and graffitti, empty bottles at night. So far, the most basic and poorest hotel experience anywhere in Europe except for hostels 20 years ago,
