Good atmosphere, lovely, not casual design of rooms.. Another things Paris gives to you.. =)) Location: good, 100m to the nearest metro station ''Chatelet'', 80 m to the nearest mini-market (shop), 1000m (10 minutes) to the Notre-Dame de Paris, 800m (8 minutes) to the Musee du Louvre, 700m (7 minutes) to the nearest rer station (train from airport) (''Chatelet - Les Halles") Hotel staff: Friendly, there is one Russian woman on reception. Nothing special.. Only Good emotions))

I liked that it was close enough to walk to the sights, the Louvre, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Musee d'Orsay, the Seine, the Halles and more. It was also just one block from the Metro. My friend and I took the Metro to La Defense and walked all the way back, throught the Arch de Triumph, and down Champs de Elysse. Excellent location for touring. Most of the staff was friendly, patient and tolerant of my not speaking French, while others were a bit rude.

The staff is very polite, professional and helpful. They speak English which was a real bonus for someone visiting Paris for the first time. Rooms were wonderfully clean. The location is near perfect--a few blocks from the river and the Pont Neuf and a block from the Rue de Rivioli. A good many restaurants, a great bakery just down the street. I am recommending to my friends. It is also a great value for the money.

Location Most disgusting hotel we have stayed in. Despite making early booking, they gave us rooms in the attic. Gloomy & dim rooms - to cover up the old and deteriorationg decor. Tiny lift that is slow and inefficient. Front desk staff - one was helpful, The others - should not be in the hospitality line. Knowing that we spoke English, she chose not to respond to us. We 'caught her; coz she answred a telephone call in English. Disgusting...

Location is perfect - 5 minuts from Louvre, Notre Dame, very close to metro station, the place is quite. Close to Rivoli street, which is full of stores and restorants. We have taken a big family room for 4 people, and it was really big, with one double bed and two small begs and with separate toilete room for children. Wi-Fi works really good in room ( I was able to work from hotel).

Location good in the centre of town Shocking value for money, even by Paris levels. A "superior" room contained barely enough room to walk around the double bed. Decor faded, bed adequately comfortable but no more.

16th century archıtecture, central location (close to River and Louvre Museum), nice breakfast (€13.5/each of course :) ) Over-priced as all Paris hotels, they don't accept US dollars despite they have currency exchange table at reception (you have to pay euro)

Lowly hotel, situated at the center of Paris, Each room individualy furnished. Even though it is central (two minutes to the metro), it is very quiet. Rooms are nice and tidy. The staff were very helpful whatever the question, and you were always met with a smile. We will use this hotel again, the next time we are in Paris.

The staff was very helpful and always courteous in answering questions and assisting with making arrangements during our stay. The location is excellent given that it was a first time trip for us and made our getting around quite easy to sites and restaurants. I realize the hotel is a historic hotel, however, given the price point, I was very disappointed that the rooms are not well appointed to show off this "historic" aspect--bathrooms and rooms were very worn (carpets stained/paint peeling/rust in shower) and not well updated for the "feel" claimed to have in the description on the website. For example, there was a flat screen television in the room, but no room for a simple chest of drawers to put your clothing. Also, for the "buffet" at 13 euros, croissants were not as fresh as expected and selection for breakfast as such a price was substandard. It would be better to simply feature croissants/warm bread with butter and jam with juices/coffee/hot chocolate and have them be the best quality versus many things of substandard quality.

I chose this hotel because I was traveling with my 5-year-old daughter and wanted a very charming but centrally located hotel on a quiet street. This hotel did not disappoint. Though it's only 100 m from the Chatelet metro, it's on a tiny little side street and so it was very quiet. Really, the location can't be beat: excellent metro and bus connections, two minute walk from the Seine, easy walking distance (even with a 5-year-old) to the Hotel De Ville, Notre Dame, Tuileries, even the Musee D'Orsay. The room was small (as most hotel rooms in Paris seem to be) but the decor was lovely. My daughter was thrilled with the room. In her words, "It looks like a princess should live here." The staff was friendly, multilingual and very accommodating and breakfast, though not cheap, was generous and very good. I would definitely stay here again!

Location and quaintness. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Although in a "deluxe" room, the room was still quite small by the standards of foreign travels in the 21st Century.

While the hotel has been there a while, the bathrooms were nearly new. Always clean and well stocked. Hot water was plentiful. The breakfast was good and a good value. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are a bit cramped, but that is not unusual in Europe.

The only good thing about this hotel is location. This is one of the worst hotel I've stayed in so far. The rooms were extremely small & u can hear all the noises from the street. The staff was extremely unfriendly. I booked a double room & requested a cot for my daughter. They confirmed with the email the the cot be available, but instead gave me a twin room & then tried to convince me that this was the room that I booked. The staff at night was extremely unhelpful & refused to do anything & ask me to complain in morning. Won't recommend to anyone. Please stay away.
