Grand Hotel Nouvel Opera  

The room was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful

We thought the bathroom was ill conceived - no place to put soap, the shower was leaking, there were pipes all over the place. Also there was no heating on our first two nights at the end of October - so not ideal

The staff was nice, the hostel's location is really great, we could access every sightseeing spot. The metro station is near, there were several eating facilities. What's important is that the bathroom and the beds were clean, the heating was okay, too. In general, we had a nice time there.

Everything was perfect; staff were really friendly and talked english , they helped us to go everywhere, The room was basic; clean and simple with a balcony. Everything I wanted was there. For the money I wasnt looking for luxury 5star room and this room was really clean, had a quite cozy design and everything was cool. They even arranged me a minibus tso airport. They helped me print my boarding pass. So friendly, so nice environment with cool rooms and they don't rush you like other hotels. I totally enjoyed my stay. Really impressed me for this amount of money. Definitely staying again

Everything perfect, no minuses. Maybe lift was too small thats it.

This is a great value hotel with very helpful staff. The location is excellent with a huge range of eating options.

Location is good. Very near to metro and restaurants, supermarkets etc.

Hotel room was very small, no room to move about. Hotel facilities was inadequate. Stay here only if you are most concerned about location and nothing else.

It is situated in an avenue, safe road, very close to the metro station.

The rooms are very small and old beds. It smells bad. The bathroom sink was broken and shattered. Night staff is like a guard dog. You can enter the park until they are hearing. You can not invite a guest in the room. The elevator is very small and difficult to use.

we were staying for 4 nights and didn't spend much time at the hotel. stuff was very nice, helpfull and friendly! room was on 1st floor with street view so curtains had to be closed all the time but noise from the street didn't bother us. there were renovation made not long time ago. also room and bathroom sizes are pretty good for paris! i've had experience and stayed in really small ones :)

hairdryer didn't work, wifi worked bad, there were only one small mirror in the bathroom. Really need one more in the room!! lighting was rather poor and TV worked strange (maybe batteries in the remote were discharged)

It was hot in the room - the temperature for us was ok (we were in November); every day the room was cleaned, but according to the renovation there was a lot of dust which I had to clean to put my clothes into wardrobe.

There was renovation on our floor, and it was not ok to hear at 7:00- 8:00 noises like hummer and so on. But last day they finished it

The staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke english. There is free wifi in the hotel. Near a metro stop. Volltaire station.

The room and carpet had a smell. The place looks run down once you are inside They need to change the carpet in the room . There are stains and we had to open the window to rid the smell. I could not sleep well due to smell and noise from the window outside For this price we could have stayed at another cleaner hotel. The location of hotel not ideal for first timers to Paris it can be quite far out from the sights. Need to take metro Voltaire stop to get back and out.
