noisy rooms - could hear the whole daily street cleaning ,old furniture and noisy old floors

I had booked a "confort" room, when i got there, it was pathetic: shower didnt work; depriment. Asked for a change and they upgraded me to "confort superior"; which was very good (almost excellent) for 41 euros a night. do not book confort room. When I checked out the addition was a little higher than original reservation; but they finally charged original price

Well located

Great location.

The heating of my room was through air conditioner... To not die of cold, I had to turn my conditioner at the utmost volume.. As a result I catched cold. I was sick for a two days of my three days trip and only now, on a third day after returning home, I am getting better.

Good location and price

If you have large laggages, avoid 4 th floor (no elevator stop on 4th floor)

Noisy pedestrians into the early hours of the morning when we had the window open. However, this is hardly the fault of the hotel.

unlike the picture shown on your site, my room had a carpet that hadn't been cleaned in years (including cleaned of large items that were to the side of the desk and at the edge of the wall); the room was also long overdue for a paint job; and there was a section of floor that squeaked and seemed to give way whenever I walked on it.

Nothing - it was nasty.

There were spiders in the bathroom and it was not very clean.

Cheap and good location

It was a good location both for the train station and the centre of Town, was clean and with a long lie-in before breakfast. Had a very good bar attached to it with friendly staff.

Door to room being too long and therefore scraping the floor every time it opened, toilet seat broken and strange refusal of one receptionist to speak English to me! Also my 'double' room which was more expensive than my friend's single room, was smaller, had twin beds whereas he had a double! It seemed that breakfast had to be pre-booked. We ended up going to a cafe along the road.
