Score from 282 reviews Good
The hotel welcomes you in a warm atmosphere. Enjoy a privileged location in the center of the city, close the banks of the Ill river, a short distance from the train station.

Score from 7 reviews Excellent
Very close to Strasbourg main railway station. Also very close to Strasbourg center. Very friendly staff, good free wifi, modern design. Looked very well for a 2 star hotel.
The bathroom was a PVC cabin.
Generally very good, location was perfect to get around and the train station.
Rooms could be a little bigger, no plug in the bathroom sink
Very clean and good breakfast with fresh orange juice.close to City Center
It got a little noisy in the morning and the bathroom was very small.
The location of Hotel Le Grillon was perfect for us. It was easy to get to places, including the train station.
It was a little bit noisy at night for sleeping as the rooms were above the bar and on the street
Very good location, and the interior design looks very new. The staffs are friendly and provided immediate help.
Excellent location and nice clean room.
Shower was not nice, very small and not well functioning.
Location, just walking distance from the railway station in a wonderful street full of restaurants and life. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Walking distance from everything...great stay...thank you
3 minutes to the Centrel station, 3 minutes to the nearest tram station, 3 minutes to the Grand rue.
Bathroom is cca 1x1m2!!!! Room is cca 8m2!
bad was excellent
too loud from bar on the street
This is a very good hotel, location is ideal if your arriving by train it's literally a 5 minute walk, room was clean, lady on reception was very friendly
I had booked a room for 4 and the room was in the annex of the building and it was like sauna, the air conditioning had no effect. I wouldn't let this put you off booking this hotel as the rooms in the rest of the hotel are probably fine
The room was clean and comfortable
The shower head would not stay in the normal position so that I had to crouch down into an almost sitting position in order to use the shower !
We chose it because it was close to the station. However, it is also a good base to explore Strasbourg. In general it is quiet being in a mainly pedestrian area.
There was a noisy late night party in aneighbouring property, which they couldn't do much about other than call the police which they did.
The best bang for buck ratio :) It seems they are in tune with the things we found important, disregarding all the rest not so important characteristics.
Close to everything Staff helpful
Noisy on street Hard to find with road closures by car
Parking is arange by hotel, that's great but anyone told us in advance that we will pay fot it and the card hotel gave us is only discount.
very convenient location nice staff quiet and clean excellent purpose of breakfast
no parking available in the street
Very comfortable and clean. I like it. And valuable for the cost.
No hair dryer
The stuff was very friendly, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean quite big and the location was great!
In our room we had a small bathroom made in weird french system and the shower tap was connected with the sink which was uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite poor.
Good location, nice staff.
Noisy street, bad matresses, poor breakfast.
Near this hotel, there are everything. restaurants, shops, bakery, and so on. And you can go to some sightseeing spots on foot. The stuff is very friendly. They gave us some recommendation of good restaurants, und this choice was really good. We could enjoy the meal.
The room is actually small for us, 2 adults and 2 Kids. Especially the bathroom is very small. but I can understand. Here is in the city and useful place. So, it's OK.
Standard of hotel, we had a 3 bed room, which was very modern with large new bathroom. Location good, and price.
Cant say I didn't like location, as it is very central, but that of course brings lots of noise from passerby's walking from main railway station into centre.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The lift only went to the third floor and we were on the fifth, so hard work climbing the stairs with heavy bags.
Good location. Very nice, helpful staff. Very, very clean premises. Nice shower.
I reserved a double room but was allocated a tiny single room (I was too tired to do anything about it at that point). The room was very warm and stuffy, even with aircon. It backed up onto a noisy street. I got very little sleep, if any at all. It was really cramped and a bit dark, claustrophobic - I was charged Euros 60.66 (breakfast not included) for that, which I consider to be excessive and definitely not good value. Only English tv was a few News channels. I think in this day and age, an international clientele should be taken into consideration.
