Staff was very friendly and the spoke good English. Our room was small, but practical and clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a "garden-side" room, so it was very quiet at night. The room was located close to the elevator but this didn't disturb us at all. There was a good closet in the room so we could put all our clothes in it and there was enough place in the room for the suitcases. The location of the hotel is great - close to the Opera, Louvre is not far, the shops are practically around the corner, cafes and a baker very close-by. Also some Asian (Japanese, Chinese, Thai) restaurants close to the hotel and a fancy one on the corner of the street. Shops not far away and the metro station (Opera) very close. Quick, McDonald's, Pizza Hut are also close for a fast budget-friendly meal. Starbucks (2 actually) close-by. We paid almost 400 euros for two nights, but normal price would have been 600. a lot of money, but hotels in Paris are expensive and we got for the price a nice and clean hotel on a perfect location. The room was small and the bathroom tiny, but I've learned that rooms in Paris in general are small. Bathroom was practical, it was difficult to be there with two, but we managed. Relatively thin walls - we could hear the neightbours take a shower and open/close their door, but this didn't disturb really. We stayed two nights and it was all fine, but I guess if someone has to stay for a week the tinyness of the room and bathroom can be disturbing.

Good hotel within walking distance to the center. Metro within 3 minutes walk. Rooms are good, clean and quite. Breakfast was very good and you can have your breakfast in bed without extra charge! 2 minor things: bed was a bit small and the room was a bit too warm.

Location close to the Opera and the Grands Magasins. Rooms quite newly refurbished, hotel generally set out in a stylish way. Staff very helpful. Breakfast above average for a Parisian hotel! Whereas the rooms seem to be more spacious than the average Parisian hotel in this price range the design sometimes gets a little in the way of practicality, so that you end up with less room than expected...

Stayed at Golden Tulip Opera de Noailles 3 nights on 1st week of December 2012. Great location! Few hundred meters from Opera where for example Roissybus from/to airport comes/leaves. 1km walk to Louvre. Few hundred meters from Galeries Lafayette and other shopping centers. Room was clean and roomy. Will stay here also next time when visiting Paris

Excellent location, nice design. Extremely small and overpriced rooms, very expensive breakfast and intransparent communication. The "deluxe room", about which the description said: " This room is more spacious and can accommodate an extra bed" would have been rather small even for a standard double room. It did not have a seating area, as indicated. No info was available on the size of the rooms on any of the websites. An extra bed was fitted in the room, but was hardly possible to move around and put the suitcases anywhere. 18 euros per person were charged for breakfast, which was not communicated in a transparent way upon arrival. We also had to contact the hotel 3 times before our stay to get information on parking possibilities. Would not deserve 4 stars.

“First, I LOVED the location which was very convenient to a Rossybus stop just behind Opera), a metro station, restaurants (just loved le Petit Vendome right across the street), high end shops, the lovely Tuilleries Garden and Seine River, and three magnificent museums: Louvre, Orangerie, and D'Orsay. Secondly, I liked the price which is very reasonable considering the neighboring hotel rates of the Ritz and Park Hyatt. I stayed in a very quiet, inner, newly refurbished and air conditioned room that was perfect for my needs. To sum it up, I look forward to my next stay at the Hotel Mansart!” Julia, Radnor |
