Location was great Our room was disgusting, with a huge damp patch. We requested a new one and were moved but it wasn't much better - certainly not what I expected from a Parisian 4*

The person at the front desk ensured I had a newer room when I made a comment about the terrible reviews I had read about the hotel. Almost everything - the room was dusty, it was noisy, the breakfast was terrible and expensive (the hot food wasn't replaced between 7am and 10am), the heating was hard to use, the TV didn't work.

Location. Closets were spacious. Beds were clean and comfortable. The floor was dirty. Not littered with stuff that needed sweeping off the floor, but like someone had mopped it with black dirty water. If you walked in bare feet or socks they turned black quickly. The staff at the front desk was rude. The layout of the family room made it difficult to move around. The "air conditioning" was weak and you were only allowed to turn on electricity while you were in the room using your room key, but that might be normal for Paris. The bathroom had two sinks, but one was missing a faucet and drain pipes. The small "kitchen" was not stocked with anything useful but served as a second sink for us. We paid more money to stay at this hotel than any other on our trip, and it was by far the worst hotel we stayed in.

the staff were excellent and quite cordial The fact that I did not get a single room for my family of 6 on arrival at the hotel, even though I had received an online confirmation 2 months in advance

1) The close walking distance to shopping and sites. 2) The staff was very good, 3) Once we were in the room we expected it was very nice. The first night we wer put into a very poor overflow type room and had this not be fixed it would have caused a serios complaint.

Friendly personnel The owners of the hotel do not invest enough to keep the facilities in correct conditions. Wear and tear have been taken most of its toll. The kitchen was not usable. There was a small dish washing machine, but no dishes, glasses, nothing! Even no fridge. It took some time to get the heating (a small electrical radiator) to work ( we had to find a solution by blocking the on-off switch ). The television must have dated from 80's. The room did not smell very well. As the heating was prehistoric, opening the windows was no option. Bathroom was small but in good condition. Only one bathroom for 6 people for a price of 420 € per night however is a rip off. The beds were ok, even the couch convertible to bed was of good quality. Location is excellent. The personnel is very friendly.

It was where the conference was that I attended. It was expensive for what it was. It certainly is not a four star hotel by my expectations.

The staff was very polite and willing to help. This is one of the worst hotels I have been to this year. The room was not decorated at all, the wallpaper was old and dirty. On some places it was worn off. The television was not a flatscreen but an old CRT television, for a superior room of 390€ this is clearly not acceptable. The wifi connection did not work and the only alternative was to go in the lobby. I needed to work late in the night and this was not very convenient. Unless there's a drastic change, I'll never return to this hotel.

I travell a lot and always book the hotels via booking.com. And I always was happy with all hotel I visited before but as for this hotel it was terrible and I did not like this hotel at all. It's my kind advice not to stay at Royal Garden Champs Elysees. The hotel is not correspond to the name and 4 stars at all!!! The hotel staff are not proffesional and the servic is awful!
