Probably the most professional hotel staff in Strasbourg. Friendly and efficient. Wonderful location. If anything, then the elevator is slow. |

Room very tiny but this seems to be typical in Europe. It was however very clean and bed comfortable. Great location especially as we had rented a car and could park it in carpark off La Place de Gutenburg. Staff very helpful. Didn't mind room on 5th floor but with lift stopping at 4th flloor it was a bit awkward getting our luggage up and down the last flight of stairs. Perhaps booking procedure could ask age (range) of potential clients. We're in our 60's. |

Convenient central location but quiet (apart from the cathedral bells). Spotless modern bathroom. Helpful staff. Varied and not overpriced breakfast. |

I loved Strasbourg city centre and the hotel was just a few steps from cathedral and had a lovely atmosphere. |

Nearness to sights and restaurants. Parking was not conveniently close but I suppose it was not expected either in an established historical city. The washroom, therefore, the room, smelled of the plumbing water. |

The location was very desirable and the breakfast, which cost extra, was good. Overall, the hotel was a good value. Our bathroom was up a steep staircase from our room. It was steep enough to be nearly dangerous for a "mature couple." (I think room 501.) |

The hotel was very good for our purposes. Located near the Cathedral and only a short walk form La Petite France, it was easily reached from the gare. The staff were efficient and helpful. Our room was on the 5th floor in the combles, so one wall had an interesting pitch to it. That, with the exposed beams, gave the room a quaint feel. It was small but comfortable and well-lit. There was a lift to the 4th and stairs to the 5th. We enjoyed using the stairway to go all the way down because of the decorations. Although the breakfast room was a bit utilitarian, the food was good, fresh and varied. There were an espresso machine and eggboiler. Overall, good value for the money. The bathroom in our room was a bit small and bizarrely arranged (no door or curtain on the shower), but that was probably because we got the room as a "special internet price." The room itself was comfortable and well-lit by the window. |

Location was central and near parking garage. Room was clean and well appointed. At checkin we were told the hotel was overbooked, had no rooms available, and we were to be located to another of this chain's (diana) hotels outside the city center on the other side of the river. I had a paper copy of my booking.com confirmation, yet the receptionist insisted we were to be relocated. I had just experienced a very difficult time navigating to the parking garage next to hotel gutenberg and had already parked the car in the garage. After adequately expressing my displeasure with being relocated the receptionist made a phone call to hotel management and a room matching the description of the room I booked magically became available. This scene could have been avoided if the hotel valued its customers more. |

This hotel was in the middle of the tourist area. Very difficult to find this hotel using booking.com directions. I would definitely advise you to get a city map for Strasbourg before you try to get to this hotel by car. |

The hotel is very well located and quiet. The air conditioning was great as temperatures reached 38.5 deg C. A safe in the bedrooms would be an advantage. |

Very clean, efficient, good size room & bathroom, quiet, good air-con, great location, Good price. Perfect. We had a larger size room - 1st floor. 2 big windows / balconies with a view of the cathedral. Hotel staff were very nice - no fuss. We didnt have breakfast - lots of cafes/breakfast places right next door. This is really like a 4 star hotel to me. About 200 metres from Cathedral in nicest part of town. Nothing not to like |

The front desk staff were very friendly, offered recommendations for restaurants and bike rental, and put up with my horrible French even though they could speak English. Great view of the cathedral from the room. |

When we were switched from our problem room, the new room was exactly what we originally asked for, and very nice. No apologies were ever given. I called ( 7pm) to report that we would be late (had a flat tire and our rental car had no spare...). When we finally checked in at 11 pm, we received a terrible room. Not what was requested (was ours given away?), on the alley above a very noisy club on that saturday night, and the air conditioner did not work (we tried for 1/2 hour, requested front desk help- he couldn't get it to work; finally brought a noisy fan) so we had to leave the windows open...yuck! |

Location and view I was not told about breakfast times upon arrival and about other pertinent information that other guests were given. Some front desk staff are more informative than others. |

Very nice and charming hotel, fantastic location, though can be a little bit nozy friday night. Good breakfast and very friendly and service minded staff. Makes your stay in the wonderful city of Strasbourg even better! A fridge in the room would be nice, especially in summer time. |
