Cleanliness, service. Everything!
The room was rather spacious, and very clean. The breakfast was of good quality. The staff were very friendly.
- Personel was really friendly! - well located; very centre of the historic centre of Strasbourg
Lights in toilet and washroom could not be controlled separately from the room lights.
lovely room - we got upgraded. The room was simply and really nicely decorated - the modern décor worked well in the old building. this was a great place to stay - really central and really lovely - would happily stay here again
The standard rooms are quite small but comfortable if you're just there to sleep.
Good location, clean room
Short bed, uncomfortable pillow, shower drain was partially clogged (it was draining very slow, I was standing in 10 cm deep water during showering)
A 2 minute stroll from the cathedral, excellent central location in a beautiful city, very clean, comfy room nicely decorated. Staff were friendly.
no milk in the room but when requested arrived quickly
The room given to us was completely renovated and the same goes for the rest of the hotel. Staff was nice and the location is perfect.
Great location in the middle of town. Parking in underground public garage less than 100m away (although the spaces are very tight). Friendly staff. We were given a fun room on the top floor, with comfortable, modern decoration. The windows could be opened, and we could just about see a bit of the cathedral if we leaned out.
Bathroom was rather small, with little to no space to put anything down, but that's a nit. Breakfast seemed a bit expensive, so we ate elsewhere.
This hotel is well located close to the cathedral and is easy to get to with a tram. The rooms were standard for this price range but the shower was poorly designed. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Other than the shower we had a very pleasant 2 nights in Strasbourg.
The shower is situated over the bath but they have put the glass shower wall on the outside of the bath tub (as opposed to in line with the inside of the tub so the water goes back into the bath) which creates a channel between the bath and the glass which then pours water onto the bathroom floor. Dumb!!!!
Nice, quiet and comfy, friendly stuff and clean. I didn't expect more or needed anything else. Perfect to stay for a few nights and to explore Strasbourg. Everything is within walking distance.
Quiet top floor room, perfect location, excellent breakfast.
Bathroom tiny, divided from the bedroom only by a glass swing door with a large gap at top and bottom. Effectively bedroom and bathroom with toilet were one room; too intimate for comfort!
Fantastic location in the heart of the city. Spacious, modern rooms.
Room was exceptionally clean! Very nice staff, newly renovated rooms. In the centre of Strassburg, public underground parking 50m away for 10euro/ night.
Attic room lacks space. Room on two levels with bathroom upstairs in the roof - we're quite tall and we had some problems fitting. No fridge in the room. Very noisy in the morning as of 9am - cathedral bells go off for half hour full blast in weekends. Thin walls.
The hotel had an excellent location near the cathedral. The hotel was well decorated and maintained. The staff were efficient. It was good value for money. The TV even carried UK channels.
We were up in the eves of the building and, even though I am not tall, I kept banging my head especially in the bathroom. On the last day we were left without loo paper and tissues and had to ask the reception to provide some. This seemed very parsimonious. The breakfast was too expensive.
Spacious room Separate toilet Clean Location Modern
Very central, good breakfast
Expected rather more for the price, also expected a more traditional hotel
Very helpful staff and comfortable spacious rooms. Good price for what you get with a good location close to a tramline.
The location is perfect, near the Cathedral. The rooms are beautiful, large and the staff is welcoming
Everything was satisfied. Nice location and kind staffs, clean room, excellent breakfast!!
When they say it's soundproof, it's really soundproof. Air conditioner worked exceptionally well. Fast wifi and wired internet. Relatively comfortable bed. Their herbal soap smelled very good. The tea in the breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is central enough to be close to all the good restaurants and fun attractions, and to a tram station which is useful if you get there by train, yet in a side street which means you don't get much noise. There's also an ATM right around the corner, which is quite useful. Staff was polite and spoke very good English. 24 hours reception was also very useful. Breakfast was quite good. Especially the bread.
Really minor stuff: Lingering smell of mold in the room. I got used to it in few minutes, but it's not something that's fun to go back to after a night out in the town. I couldn't turn on the heating myself, which was problematic because I'm not used to the cold weather of Europe. The soap dispenser that was glued to the wall fell off it in the middle of the night. They glued it again when I was out, and then it fell again the night after... for about 3 nights before they gave up and left it lying there. The bath was a bit small, which made it hard to enjoy a good bath. The shower curtain was moist and moldy all the time.
This town is a must see fairyland for anyone seeing country France. Absolutely beautiful. Don't miss the mini train and tour if the city. 6 euro for 50 minutes of wonderland.
Nothing. It was perfect.
Very clean room. Excellent location near the city centre and the cathedral.
We booked a double room. The room was actually an attic and the bathroom was too small. You could reach the bathroom through narrow stairs. Not mentioned in the reservation. The bathroom and the room was not suitable for people that have at least normal height . Room was suitable only for young people.
very polite and friendly\helpful staff, excelent renovated room m(VIP floor); value for money , comfortyable room and vast, separate toilet and bathroom, decent and noujrishing breakfast
All was good
