Nice location in the middle of the center of the city. Personal was polite and mannerly. It is old fashioned hotel, traditional in every sense, real French. Man can get three stars quality during a budget trip.

MOst staff was very nice. The garden in back is quite lovely. It is easy to find. If you have a gps. Traffic in Marseilles now is a nightmare due to construction and many roads are closed...suggest you recommend people traveling there to be sure to have a GPS. The published maps aren't much good at the moment. Rooms are quite small. Location is not the best and parking is a nightmare. I have traveled quite a bit in France by car, so my expectations are not out of line. I would not recommend this hotel to others primarily due to the location. It is very near a crime area and when walking to restaurants, taking the wrong fork in the road would lead an inexperienced traveler in to a rather questionable part of town. The hotel staff, though very nice, don't seem to know much about where to send you for food so it would be easy to end up in the wrong place. the hotel certainly has potential, they just need to invest a little effort in the rooms in freshening up the common areas. Lots of airfreshner doesn't really make up for the dusty odor. See also comments on general condition of roads in Marseilles at this time. GPS is a must until construction is completed.

Very very very nice breakfast, cozy bed, proximity to the metro station and the Old Port. A cockroach in the bathroom which I had to wash down the sewage system!

-la situation géographique -la petit cour à l'ombre -la disponibilité du personnel -Pour accéder à la chambre (no 20) il y a 86 marches à monter. -La climatisation ne marchais pas, car il n'y avait soi-disant pas des piles pour la télécommande.Alors ,une nuit entre chaleur ou bruit de la circulation .Pour le 2ème jour elle était disponible , mais il à fallu 1 heure au gardien de nuit pour trouver la panne de la climatisation. A éviter.

L'enmplacement. Le manque d'ascenseur. 3 étages avec une grosse valise, sans aide. Demande d'une chambre double : chambre à deux grands lits donnée avec le prix beaucoup plus élevé !....

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil attentionné et souriant, le charme de cet hôtel, le calme de la chambre sur l'arrière alors que l'on est en plein centre, à côté de l'église des Réformés et l'excellent petit déjeuner

La gentillesse de certain personnel La chambre que nous avions reservée n'était pas disponible à nôtre arrivée ? Nous n'avons pas été prévenu et nous avons été mis devant le fait accompli...c'est à dire une fois que nous avions déposé nos bagages...dans le hall d'entrée.

La propreté et le personnel La chambre était situé tout en haut, plus de 40 marches à monter, mon épouse et moi avons tout les deux 76 ans, donc se fut très éprouvant.

Très bon accueil du personnel. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Ils vous laissent la clef à l'entrée si vous arrivez tard et son près à vous donner des conseils pour visiter Marseille. Cours intérieure pour prendre le petit déjà agréable. Salle de bain bien propre, chambre également. On y a passé 2 très bonnes nuits. Très bien placé. A proximité du vieux port et de la canebière, mais pas dans un quartier touristique. Dans le quartier, des commerces moins touristiques pour éviter de payer trop cher (excellente boulangerie/patisserie en bas de la rue! Attention, pas d'ascenseur. Ce n'était pas un problème pour nous mais peut l'être pour certaines personnes. Décoration un peu défraichie.

La chambre était propre et plutôt bien tenue. Volets aux fenêtres et rideaux supplémentaires pour être dans le noir complet. Il y avait un sèche cheveux dans la salle de bains et des échantillons de produits de bain. La chambre qui nous a été donnée sentait fortement la cigarette. L'insonorisation est très mauvaise et l'on a entendu des gens parler / marcher toute la nuit. Il n'y a aucune place réservée à l'hotel, et se garer dans ce quartier est un défi. 10 Euros par personne pour un petit déjeuner est hors de prix.

Trés bon accueil, serviabilité. Trés bon petit déjeuner, calme de la chambre donnant sur la cour, la chambre avait été rénovée. Situation géographique. Attention, pas d'ascenseur (4 étages) ça fait faire de l'exercice.
