Location beside the Carlton and across from La Croissette
No heat in the room Dated decor Horrible bed Hand held shower only
Old building and rooms, poor facilities for a 3 star hotel, not all clean, poor wifi, staff doesnt care at all about customers and about the condition of the hotel.
I was hesitant when I read some reviews, but the place was very nice, we had a room facing the ocean, the people next door at the Carlton hotel didn't have a better view, great place for the price, clean as well. Would defiantly stay there again
Other than no parking, I got what I paid for, was very happy...
NOTHING except it was well located
The hotel is really really old, everything was falling to pieces, the door knob falling in my hand on my way into the room should have been my first clue No heating !!! one light bulb out of 2 was working ! No 24h clerk !! A nightmare please avoid it
Great location, and excellent view. Not bad size of the room, compared to France in general.
Massively overpriced, even for being the week for one of the big media market. This felt like a rip off, because the room was rather dirthy, the eletric system and lightning felt dangerous and bed/furnitures and bath room was old.
Lorenzo give us sea view number with balcony! It's amazing sumptuous view! Must have!
wifi little bit worth, but The View swallowed us.
The location was fantastic as we went to a wedding in a restaurant literally five minutes away. Staff were fairly helpful with parking and luggage. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable.
No lifts. The room and bathrom were tatty and it was not good value for money at all. There were no tissues, no hairdryer and no safe: unacceptable for a supposedly 3 star hotel at £200.oo a night, even for Cannes. it is an overpriced 2 star hotel.
Cleaning ladies changed the towels every day as well as cleaned the room. The view from the hotel and location is totally fantastic! I've read that some had problems with the sound isolation but we thought it was totally fine.
Not everyone at the reception spoke english so it was a luck I could speak a bit french. Room wasn't in the best condition, later I found out that we had one of the best rooms in the hotel with a sea view (and most expensive). There is no elevator so don't take too big and heavy bags, it's 3 floors in there. I tought that the beach will be just across the street but the public beach is quite far from the hotel, the beaches situated near to the hotel incl. the one just across the street cost about 20 euros (+-10 euros depending on the name) per person per day.
The area it was so near to the promenade area and not far from shopping, dinner places as well. Train station about 1,5 km away.
There wasn't elevator and fridges in the room also hair-dryer was missing, there were like teo of them per hotel.
We arrived there and they didn't keep our room they give to someone else, and the only they say is sorry. Also they try to give us another room dirty and so small that is you want to go to the toilette you have to cros over the bed. Terrible. We didn't stay at all so we left.
the bed was comfortable, air conditioning in room good and the hotel was in the centre of town.
No reception desk, no hairdryer, no curtains, no towels until I asked, just a sheet on the bed, guests coming in and making noise at dawn. The room was very shabby.
Standards of deco and non-existent service
The hotel location was amazing but the hotel was old and needs alot of renovation.
I wish I had this hotel so I can do what it takes to make it a beautiful boutique hotel.
Nice view, good location, good price
Furniture is very old, some staff is incompetent: we've been asked book a taxi to airport, but instead of we've got a transfer, which cost 150 Euro! Instead of 80 Euro for taxi!
Excellent location and great view from our room. Manager Lorenzo and other staff was very kind and friendly.
The hotel need definetely renovation. If renovated, the prices could be very very high.
Location the hotel is near Carlton!the room is spacious friendly staff
Lorenzo and Linda were really kind and let me change my booking I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in cannes it's very good value and excellent staff Thank you bleu rivage!!
no tea or coffee machine in the room. The shower cubicle was too small (my husband and I are very slim and still couldn't shower properly ,kept banging elbows on the walls)The wardrobe door fell off as we slid it and fell on my husbands foot. The glass shelf was loose and came away in the shower room. The glass holders where the glass tumblers where in the shower room where chipped and so sharp. not 24 hr reception as stated, we use to go looking for a person even on check out. This is not a 3 star hotel , more like 2 star. The rooms looked good in the pictures on the web site ,but so..so....basic , could do with a paint and bed linen not that clean. ALL IN ALL WOULD NOT EVER STAY AGAIN.
Pretty French boutique hotel.
Unfortunately not a good place to stay in the heat, air conditioning was poor.
Old house, nice place
Cannes at all..(((
The hotel location
No food in the hotel.not even a kettle.nothing.
This place is right on the croissette with it's neighbour being one of the most expensive hotels in Cannes (Intercontinental 'The Carlton') We booked an ocean view room for probably a quarter of the price as our neighbours. It is probably one of the few 3 star accommodation left on the promenade with ocean view access. A bargain in my opinion.
everything, service, room, cleanliness, staff
Very friendly and courteous Hotelmanager Lorenzo, very helpful and polite staff
