Score from 499 reviews Very good
I liked the family atmosphere in the hotel and Karima was very helpful
The bathroom was very small
A 'light-hearted' approach with large graphics in the small rooms some of which are located on a shared terrace, which is unusual. The buffet breakfast was quite good.
No air-conditioning, no lift!
Absolutely Nothing. The surrounding area offered several restaurants and shops.
Location of the hotel. Street appeal very poor. Noisy most of the time. The rooms surrounded a small courtyard that attracted smokers who carried out loud conversations past midnite. Rooms were the size of a small closet. Daily breakfast was poor, service and selection.not acceptable. Daily cost of 10 Euros for breakfast too expensive. Curb appeal very poor for the cost of the room. Bottomline for 5 nites the cost of 605 Euros was a rip-off.
excellent staff and location in safe neighborhood, good restaurants and bakeries in area, small but comfortable
shower flooded the bathroom, some plaster peeling
All staff not being able to assist in English.
Nice room decor. Comfortable bed.
Showering is an exercise in gymnastics - very small shower.
Good location, friendly staff.
Room rather small and quite expensive for its size and facilities offered. But this is Paris, so I guess they all can get away with it!
When taking shower the room full of water...
We liked the location because it was only three blocks from Gare Montparnasse (train station).
The air con didn't work My bed sheets not changed
Proximity to Metro, cafes and shops. Most of the staff was nice. Rooms were fair price and relatively clean. Felt safe on streets at night.
We booked 2 rooms and the 2nd room had mold and water dripping from ceiling in the bathroom. They told us repair man was on holidays!
Most of all I liked hospitality of the staff members. The lady at the reception was incredibly nice and kind, we were in touch by email even before arrival and she helped a lot. She was always friendly and smiley, and made us feel very welcome. I also liked the location, there are few metro stations nearby and perfect location for those who needs Gare Montparnasse.
A room was a bit small and dark but it didn't matter that much as we were there only to sleep. Good value for money.
location and staff. no lifts for those who need them, but we found it suited us perfectly
Close to nice bakery shops, wineries and several small restaurants. Nice room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. Very nice yard with plants. It is possible to reach by bus from centre.
There was a hammer noise on the Monday morning from 8a.m. In general, clean room, however, bathroom had some mould and some distant parts obviously not cleaned properly. Using shower was a bit cumbersome as sometimes it was very hot, sometimes very cold. A bit strange lighting in the room (faint reddish...). Feels like it is not meant for sleeping... The hotel is a bit of a walk form the tube station, though it can be easily reached at night by bus, but still you have to walk for 15min or so.
The room is clean and confotable. I payed more 10 euros for a amazing breakfast. The equip is very polite. I realy enjoyed.
I like the hotel itself
The room seemed to be a little run down, some of the ceiling could've been re-done and then in the middle of the night you could hear the water leaking through the bathroom & the main closet area. I would've preferred there to be an elevator in the hotel as well as a peep hole in the door.
Location was great, 5 mins from Denfert-Rochereau (walk up the street opposite McDonalds, lots of restaurants and shops and it's 5 mins up there on the left).
Hotel is pretty basic, I booked on the basis of it being a boutique hotel, however the room was decorated more like a room that could be found in your great Aunty's house. The room was fairly clean, however there was a water stain on the ceiling in the bathroom, there was no mirror in the bedroom only the bathroom. Apparently the hotel requires that room and safe keys are left at reception when you go out for the evening. Erm... Don't think so. Stay here if there are really no other options. Luckily we only stayed one night.
The great poster decorated in the room.
far from the metro and train station. The toilet is too high and not comfortable
Room is too small,no a/c,noisy
The wifi was great, the location was about a 10 min walk from the metro, the staff was nice (and patient if you don't speak much French) and the A/C worked great. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!
The shower was a little small
Room on the ground floor with the window in an inner courtyard of passage, without air conditioning. Little cleaning. Staff unkind.
Cool interior design, good position near to brasserie and restaurants and quite near to the metro station (10 min on foot)
Our room was really small.
The location was ideal. Close to a cafes & metro but in a quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff.
Very helpful receptionists & very close to the metro!
Service & cleanliness
