it was incredibly close to Louvre museum.... the location is wonderful...
the stairs.... so many stairs , no elevator, a very narrow coridor, a very small WC and washing place.... a guest, who has a room in the 4 or 5th floor, must go up so many stairs with his suitcase. it is really difficult....
room was newly refurbished with a chic finish and really clean. Staff were very friendly and the location in the 1st arrondissement was incredible, even more so when one considers the price. Brilliant value for money
the room currently under renovation on the exterior wall which was previously the entrance to the bar meant that there was no window/natural light but this will probably have changed in the next few months, although my girlfriend found it very claustrophobic as a result.
The location was good. Itcwas easy to get to the sites we wanted to visit. The bed was good and linen ckean.
No lift in the hotel.too many stairs. The toilet and shower wereTOO small and we could hardly move. A bit of fresh paint will also help.
Location was great Value ok Staff very good and helpful
Bathroom in bad condition Water leak through ceiling:) Dirty curtains
Great location & helpful staff
Very limited facility. Stayed on 6th floor with no elevator. Bedding was very uncomfortable.
The place was very old and run down. The bathroom was in a cupboard you could not shower because if you dropped the soap you couldn't pick it up again! The bed was like a rock with springs and there was no pillow just a long rock !!
cheap good location
lack of lift my room was on the 5th floor the POS terminal did not work
We could see the top of the Eiffel tower from the window, so location was the only good thing about this place.
The receptionist upon arrival was rude & not helpful at all. We then were told that we had to pay as they didn't take the money out the first time. After that was sorted, we were told we had to walk up 6 flights of stairs with our luggage after a day of flying. To top it off, when we got to the room we found it was a tiny room that we couldn't even stand up in and we had tea towels at home bigger than the towels. At night we had to leave the windows open because it was so hot in that little room and there was noise all night long from the street below. Would not recommend unless you're desperate.
the staff is excellent , nice and very helpful. location was great. Breakfast was good, with refill of coffee. Handycap room was spacious.
no elevator!!,thanks God we had the handycap room. Breakfast in the basement.
The place was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the price was good for Paris.
No escalator. The street outside was quite noisy.
Amazing location, comfortable beds, lovely friendly staff. Really couldn't ask for more!
Bathrooms are really small which resulted in a slight flooding mishap :/ and the wifi doesn't work in the rooms.
Aurelie at front desk was helpful in every way--drawing maps, giving accurate useful information about the area, and generally being very cheerful and friendly.
Great location, excellent value for the money, and friendly staff. I was incredibly fortunate with my stay considering other hotels were booked. I look forward to my next stay again in room 61. Dan
Dirty room, small staircase, ultra small bathroom, no wifi, could hear plumbing from other rooms. Thin walls meant you could sometimes hear people coughing or talking.
This is a great location, and in spite of my negative comments, it was adequate and I slept fine, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not take my wife to stay, but I might stay again on my own, although I would check other options first.
Four flights of narrow steep stairs to the room. The room was a bit grimy, very simple furniture, tiny bathroom, cracked toilet pan, but at least it had an ensuite, the sheets were clean, and the bed comfortable. What do you expect for EUR75
The staff was very friendly ther service was very good the location very excellent. Could walk to Notre dame and the church around. Enjoyed my stay and will let others too.
The hotel has no lift. I could hear my neighbor peeing as if he were in my room. The bathroom was dirty (they didn't even clean the toothpaste left on the door by the previous guest) and incredibly small - if you sit on a toilet, half of your body is in the room, it is hadly possible to turn in the shower without breaking anything.
Location, location, location - easy to find from the railway station, close to the many attractions. Owners very friendly. Some nice cafes etc close to the hotel
Smallest shower I have ever seen, bedding and beds old, Night club right next to the hotel which only stops at about four in the morning
Don't bring a cat because there is no room to swing it
Small, not very clean, dark and noisy place. Location is not justifying the price which for the given quality is very high.
Big spacious room Clean and comfortable
Staff very nice
The stairs are terrible, the breakfastroom in a little cellar. Bathroom not good
The location is walking distant from the metro and nearby Musee de Louvre
The place is small, you have to climb the stairs
excellent location, very very nice staff, room is clean, interesting old fashioned decoration
no lift is really a big problem for old travelers and people with large luggage
