The place was very old and run down. The bathroom was in a cupboard you could not shower because if you dropped the soap you couldn't pick it up again! The bed was like a rock with springs and there was no pillow just a long rock !!
the staff is excellent , nice and very helpful. location was great. Breakfast was good, with refill of coffee. Handycap room was spacious.
no elevator!!,thanks God we had the handycap room. Breakfast in the basement.
The place was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the price was good for Paris.
No escalator. The street outside was quite noisy.
Amazing location, comfortable beds, lovely friendly staff. Really couldn't ask for more!
Bathrooms are really small which resulted in a slight flooding mishap :/ and the wifi doesn't work in the rooms.
Aurelie at front desk was helpful in every way--drawing maps, giving accurate useful information about the area, and generally being very cheerful and friendly.
Great location, excellent value for the money, and friendly staff. I was incredibly fortunate with my stay considering other hotels were booked. I look forward to my next stay again in room 61. Dan
Dirty room, small staircase, ultra small bathroom, no wifi, could hear plumbing from other rooms. Thin walls meant you could sometimes hear people coughing or talking.
This is a great location, and in spite of my negative comments, it was adequate and I slept fine, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not take my wife to stay, but I might stay again on my own, although I would check other options first.
Four flights of narrow steep stairs to the room. The room was a bit grimy, very simple furniture, tiny bathroom, cracked toilet pan, but at least it had an ensuite, the sheets were clean, and the bed comfortable. What do you expect for EUR75
The staff was very friendly ther service was very good the location very excellent. Could walk to Notre dame and the church around. Enjoyed my stay and will let others too.
The hotel has no lift. I could hear my neighbor peeing as if he were in my room. The bathroom was dirty (they didn't even clean the toothpaste left on the door by the previous guest) and incredibly small - if you sit on a toilet, half of your body is in the room, it is hadly possible to turn in the shower without breaking anything.
Location, location, location - easy to find from the railway station, close to the many attractions. Owners very friendly. Some nice cafes etc close to the hotel
Smallest shower I have ever seen, bedding and beds old, Night club right next to the hotel which only stops at about four in the morning
Don't bring a cat because there is no room to swing it
Small, not very clean, dark and noisy place. Location is not justifying the price which for the given quality is very high.
Big spacious room Clean and comfortable
Staff very nice
The stairs are terrible, the breakfastroom in a little cellar. Bathroom not good
The location is walking distant from the metro and nearby Musee de Louvre
The place is small, you have to climb the stairs
excellent location, very very nice staff, room is clean, interesting old fashioned decoration
no lift is really a big problem for old travelers and people with large luggage
We got a room at 3th floor. there is no elevator. And no wifi. We even dont have a sheet! It was so uncomfortable and dirty. It was the worst hotel I have ever been. Never ever choose here!
Location is good for sightseeing and staff was friendly.
Room and facilities should be reformed.
The location was great as it was very central to tourist attractions such as The Louvre, close to inner city shopping & also near the Metro. The Manager, Philip, was also friendly & most obliging offering helpful advice on finding locations.
The room was very basic & the bathroom extremely small but functional & bath towels were very small too. However we felt it was part of the Parisian experience.
The hotel is in a very good location for all the usual tourist attractions. 24 hour reception. Room was OK for somewhere to sleep and was reasonably priced.
The room was basic and the shower was a challenge (not really complaining as you pay for what you get). Some Saturday night street noise.
Perfect location Safe Clean Helpful and friendly staff Near metro Held my bags after check out so that I could explore Excellent views Cheap I stayed in a higher end hotel near the airport and I stayed here for one night. Even though the airport hotel was more comfortable I was treated a thousand times better at this little hotel. Also you are never in need of something to do or a place to eat.
Extremely uncomfortable bed and small shower
Friendly staffs offered help pointers and suggestion on Paris visit. Location is seriously on the centre of the attractions but in street corner so it is surrounded by less busy street. Lots of food around this location Japanese, Italian, local, bars in another corner, and even American food.
The hotel rate is somewhat expensive but can't blame that for such good location.
Bed for a couple of nights in a good location with a reasonable price.
They should at least empty the bin daily.
