The hotel owner was helpful and could speak English which made our stay easier although we don't think its essential that foreign hotels should be English speaking. |

A little tired decor but clean and good sized rooms. The lady who runs the hotel was both courteous and helpful. The swimming pool was a big hit with our children. Stayed for one night en route to Spain. Would definitely consider doing the same again. |

Wow. Everything about this place was to like. The owner is very sweet and accomodating. The rooms are unique and very comfortable. The area is outstanding with many rural villages to visit and lovely scenery. Awesome fruit stands. The backyard pool is especially welcome on the hot days we stayed there. It was like a home-away-from-home. Merci. |

The reception was very welcoming. We phoned in advance to say we wouldn't arrive until almost 10.30 in the evening - pas de problem. Easy to find the hotel. Parking not a problem. Good breakfast and lovely little garden with pool. |

Don't be put off by the hotel's proximity to a roundabout : it is not as noisy as you might imagine; what is more, there is a lovely garden at the back complete with a pleasant swimming pool and lots of garden furniture. The two best things about this hotel are the wonderfully kind, thoughtful and engaging hostess, Fabienne, and her top dog, Uba. They really do make the place a home from home. An exceptionally friendly place with a generous breakfast, a welcome bar and good restaurants within a walk of ten minutes. Excellent kicking off place for the region's delights and Fabienne, who speaks excellent English, is v helpful with ideas for places to visit. In fact she's a star. We met other guests who visit regularly and we hope to fit into that category. Fabulous! |
