The terrible noise of the toilet after it was flushed. could have had a door on the bathroom.

Great location, nice large room. Good place to check out the city.

The location

The breakfast room was sparse. Plastic chairs and tables. We didn't get the deal promised online for the nearby carpark, therefore we paid top dollar. The receptionist could barley speak English and knew nothing about the carpark deal.

The location dead opposite the Gare Flandres at Lille,could not be better for train arrivals. The hotel is in an old building and presents very basic facilities.Cleanliness was good and the staff very polite. The rooms were adequate.Breakfast was good and plentiful. On the whole with its central city position,this hotel - whilst basic - represented good value for money.

The bathroom facilities in this day and age,were somewhat disappointing - but - be fair,you could do within,all you wanted to do

Room smelt of smoke which affected my son and I who use inhalers. The stench was awful. Why is n't the hotel non smoking ? Only one towel provided for three of us. Shower needed heavy clean, black mould on tiles.Drab, narrow corridors and narrow steep staircases. When wanted to use lift, it had bag of dirty linen in it, so could not get in with our luggage etc. Very poor value for money, would never never stay there again! Has lowered my confidence in Booking.Com. Will be very wary of using this website again.

Great location, good value for money. Hair dryer, plenty of towels and shampoo in the bathroom.

Bathroom and sheets clean, but do not look the mattress and mattress cover or you would not sleep in it. Hair on the mattress cover!

No frills hotel fine for a couple of nights. Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly and engaging staff. Good location for those travelling by public transport - handy for city centre and for the two main rail stations.

Very limited storage space in bedrooms - not really appropriate for a long stay.

Location was great. Hotel next to the Lille-Flanders train station and just a few minutes walk form the EuroStar station. Lots of bars and restaurants within a minute or two walk. Little supermarket right over the road too. Room was clean and large. Several channels on the TV. Good if you just need somewhere to kip before catching the train in the morning.

Room very basic. No kettle or carpet. Tiny table and two tiny stools. Hotel was noisy with pipes banging throughout the night as other residents used the facilities. Walls very thin, so disturbed by people in neighbouring rooms. Lots of noise at night as people were coming out of bars and shouting in the street below.

Only one socket available in the room and far from bed or nightstand: located next to the door. Phone line not live. Overall good stay. Would come back again.

Location directly opposite the railway station and ease of getting to the old city.

Literally across the Gare de Flandres which made it incredibly accessible and convenient. Room for 3 was minimalistic but spacious. No air conditioning but we didn't need it anyway thanks to the unexpected cold weather. Hotel staff were very friendly and acceded to our requests (wanted glasses of hot water in the morning).

Wifi was down for a couple of hours in the morning and it is apparently not a surprising thing to the staff.

Just opposite to Lille Flandres station which is very interesting. Staff are friendly.

Wifi is too worst. Before sending an email, it got disconnected so often and I had to login again and again. Bathroom did not have any door. There should be 2 sliding doors and only 1 was present. I think the did not replace the other one when it got some repair. No air condition. Shower was broken, no hot water, only warm water, so did not have a good shower.

Ideally located near the train station and extremely quiet.
