    Good but small beds

We had payd extra for a bigger room with city wiev. They gave us a very small room to the back yard. They told us its superior room, but my sister had booked a classic doble room and it was the same size So do not pay ekstra for bigger room in this hotel, its the same as classic doble room anyway.

The hotel standard is really good and frankly I had been expecting less given the opinions I have read about hotels in Paris. Could have not been more wrong. I really loved it and it's on my list of hotels to go to when I am back again. The location is marvellous, just by the Moulin Rouge and across the metro. On another plus side its in Montmartre. Initially I didn't order the breakfast but changed my mind and while you have abundance of other options around I am glad I made the choice. I especially loved the croissants!

The room wasn't big but that's to be expected in Paris and by no means I would hold it against the hotel.

The location was great ... perfect for getting into Montmartre and on to the metro. Its right by Moulin Rouge so if you want to experience the Parisian nightlife its great and very easy to get around from.

It was aesthetically pleasing and was well located.

The shower had insufficient drainage and overflowed so the floor was wet the whole time. Additionally the bed was awfully uncomfortable and had a plank of wood down the middle. Stayed here for my 21st birthday and was sorely disappointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms are amazing and the location couldn't be better. The bus and subway stop are across the street. There are bakeries, fresh flowers, cheese, meats, fruit, and eating options within the block.

There is nothing to not like!

Excellent location in a lovely and vibrant area.

Very late cleaning of the room - 5 pm is much too late. The hotel manager is not very service-minded and smiling.

The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet (despite World Cup finals in cafes everywhere). The a.c. was cool, the water was hot--and both were plentiful. The staff was invisible but polite. Everything worked perfectly. Extra towels provided on the second day, without me asking. I had a wonderful 3 day/4 night stay. Close to two major north-south Metro lines, and one east-west one: so easy to get around. This price point is more than I would usually pay, so this was a bit of a splurge, but worth it.

I would have liked to have had a kettle and coffee/tea in the room, as well as the breakfast option. I didn't eat breakfast in--at the price for the room, I believe breakfast should be included (and there was a nice little cafe just up the street with a delicious coffee/orange juice/croissant breakfast for 5euros only). But even simply having the possibility of a hot drink in the room when I returned after a long day would have made everything perfect.

The decor, staff and overall vibe.

Would've liked provision to make tea or coffee, a balcony or somewhere to 'breathe'.

Surprising upscale little boutique hotel next to Moulan Rouge with nice details like cheese and pastry breakfast and soundproof walls. So quiet that the few hours we actually spent in our room were like being in a cool cave. We loved the party atmosphere and the proximity of many delightful cafés - go for a weekend not for the rest.

A very small room perhaps the size of a cruise ship stateroom. Although it had everything we needed it was not a room to expand in. Take your overnight bag and have fun.

Lovely quirky rooms with classic french style and flair. Centrally located.

It's a small hotel so just be prepared for close quarters.

Bedroom decor, Bathroom, helpful friendly staff, ease of access to local bars and restaurants, it has an elevator, air conditioning in bedroom worked well. double glazing cut street noise considerably, lively location, nice bar immediately opposite, great breakfast cafe 50 yds up hill

Entrance very unimposing, no public rooms (apart from tiny breakfast room) / tiny dark lobby. WiFi didn't work (not a big problem as used mobile internet)

My wife and I just returned from a lovely stay in Paris and the Hotel Le Squara made our trip so enjoyable. This was our first time to Paris and the whole experience was incredible. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful. We even got a room upgrade! The location is great for young couples and we enjoyed the bohemian style of the area. The metro was easy to navigate and the food was amazing. I would definitely return to Hotel Le Squara again. Great room, staff, and ambiance for the money!

This is such an amazing place. It's literally in the heart of Lyon and everything is in walking distance. You're surrounded by shops and restaurants and one of the giant squares is around the corner. I am a graduate student so wi-fi was important to me in order to study while visiting and the wifi was fast and ran perfectly. The apartment is spacious, and most importantly- clean! I came from Paris and it was so nice to come back to a large apartment after being crammed into a teeny hotel room for triple the price. The old quarter is walking distance and tourist's office is in the square down the street. Lyon is famous for food so go eat at some of the bouchon's and don't forget to eat their pastries. Everything was amazing. It's also nice to have a kitchen so we could snack on locally purchased cheese and baguettes. Do not hesitate from booking this apartment, the location is better than any of the hotels I walked by. The train station is only a quick 10 minutes away. Highly recommend! Anne, the owner is great also. I've never been to Lyon before and she answered all of my questions promptly. She was great.
