Friendly staff, easy check in and out, very helpful with any questions. Even helped out with a corkscrew when we had no way to open our bottle of wine, and also gave us 2 wine glasses, brilliant.
When we wanted to eat in the evening, nowhere to go, restaurant and bar closed, and not much else about, we walked the streets even into the town centre. We ended up buying a bottle of wine and some crisps and bananas in a local shop !
The management was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and breakfast excellent.
The location was hard to find. It's right by the train station (which is lit up well) but the hotel lights were shut down by 11:00pm.
very helpful staff
location no where to eat the hotel restaurant was closed
Quiet and convenient
Room had not been cleaned properly. Hard beds. Needs a makeover.
We could store our bikes securely.
Clean modern rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Local town good to explore. Safe lock up for cycles. Quality breakfast with good variety
The bar closed at 9 on weekdays, that's all I've got for a negative!
Very friendly and helpful receptionist and excellent breakfast. Problem with key quickly solved Very handy for cyclists doing the Avenue Verte with excellent cycle storage facilities
We were a group of 9 cyclists and a car travelling from London to Paris. This was a perfect place to stop over and the hotel was really good value for money. Parking on site was easy and there was room for 9 bikes in a secure outbuilding. Gisors town was in easy walking distance and we had a fabulous meal at Olive Verte pizzeria. Email communication prior to our stay was excellent. All in all there is nothing negative to say about this hotel. The staff were very friendly.
Staff were okay and were friendly. I liked that the manager made an effort and opened the car park area for my cycle off my car.
The room was great big enough and clean although the room did become hot and with the position of the room in relation to the train station it was too noisy to have the window open, not good.
Our rooms (one double and one triple) were very comfortable, cool and clean with a nice view over neighbouring gardens. The triple was in fact a suite of 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The young woman on reception was very helpful and recommended the best restaurant on our whole trip - La Cappeville. We were cycling the Avenue Vert and they had safe storage space for bikes. The breakfast was lovely - all the usual stuff.
Perfect hotel when in transit! Good breakfast, lots to choose from.
Gisors itself seems nice enough but there were no real places to eat, all the restaurants were shut. The hotel did not serve food in the evening so we ended up getting food from a local traiteur and ate it in our hotelroom.
The best hotel by far out of 5 that we stayed at on our cycling round trip to Paris.
Nothing to complain about.
Great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Secure bike storage available.
Was using the hotel whilst cycling to Paris. Very secure lock up for my cycle. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
No drinking water in the room.
Very friendly staff
Good hotel with friendly and excellent service. Good breakfast and quiet room. Nice town with a range of restaurants.
Very helpful, friendly staff. For those cycling Avenue Verte as we were, great to have secure cycle storage. Good value breakfast. Overall excellent value for money and much better than anticipated for a 2 star hotel.
Nothing to complain of.
Very good help yourself buffet breakfast, with plenty of choice
Lack of any staff around to answer questions
Good location, good cycle store - secure and convenient. Breakfast was good. Room was a very decent size, although needs updating in the decorating department! Nice having a seperate bathroom and WC.
Have to pay for breakfast, but it is a buffet so not bad value for money. Strangely, the heating was on despite being a very wam May day, but we just left the window open and let all the hot air go straight out the window. Not great for the environment, but fine for us!
Nice big beds.
not sure the owners name but very helpful and friendly spoke very good english
