Very fine hotel to stop and overnight while driving to cote azur. Dog friendly. Good cuisine. Locked parking.

Dinner was excellent.

The swimming pool was very welcome after a hot day's driving. The grounds were very well cared for and secure parking was a bonus. The food was excellent and the five course meal a real experience. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our overnight stop in a large family room.

The room was very dark and would have benefitted from more lights and air conditioning.

Staff were fantastic - Genial manager, easy to speak to and extraordinarily accomodating in all matters. Pool spotless and a really good size. Meals are amazing. Try the prix fixe - excellent value and very french. Longest and most comprehensive wine list w've ever seen!

Rooms were scrupulously clean, however bathrooms and bedrooms were a little dated and could use some modernisation. The paint work was all fresh, but the taste used was a bit 1970's. This would absolutely not put us off staying again, and neither should it put you off.

Was quite out of the way, but it was the way we were going. We dined there, quite expensive, but notheing else around. They had a good flow of people, golf course nearby, so was quite popular,

This hotel is relatively easy to reach from the Aut-route when travelling either South or North.It is a well designed, modern building, attractive looking, and set in open gardens It has a good swimming-pool, again attractively sited. The room was very small and slightly basic for the price and style of the building and it's surrounds. However, the restaurant was splendid, both in variety of menu on offer, and quality. Our impression was that this is primarily a restaurant with rooms! Nonetheless, this is a good overnight stay, especially if the weather is hot and you can use the pool. Montelier itself is not particularly attractive; the old village centre is very small, and the immediate surrounds of the hotel are modern development.

Room was overpriced for its size, and standard.

Lovely terrace and swimming pool. We had a good evening meal in lovely setting. Safe and secure site with 24hour security

Small and dark room.....gloomy.

This was a one night stayover picked from random on the way to the south of France Good choice. Like a small Spanish hacienda. Good accomodations and staff, nice patio and pool area; also an enclosed area for special functions (weddings etc.) The restaurant in the hotel served great meals either in the dining room or the one we enjoyed on the patio that evening. The restaurant was used regularly by the locals; attesting to the quality and service. Location is a little hard to find, but a gps will help.

L'emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel

Grosse déception sur la qualité du petit déjeuner ( 9 € !) Si la veille au soir nous dinions sur place avec des tables dressées avec nappe, le matin PdJ sur table sans présentation dans un coin à l'entrée du restaurant, buffet pauvre et sans choix. Pain limite rassie, micro viennoiserie ( 1 par personne), confiture industriel type hôpital ...bref pas a la hauteur des 9 €. Coté chambre, un rafraichissement est a prévoir avec lit plus large.

Les éclairage dans les escaliers. Pour descendre le signal automatique pour allumer est en bas des escaliers alors il faut descendre dans la nuit et lorsque vous êtes en bas ça s'allume. Trop tard.

la gentillesse et la disponibilté de tous dont de son propriétaire Laurent la savoureuse table le fait que cela ne soit pas une chaine hôtelière confère à l'accueil une bienveillance naturelle

tout en en comprenant parfaitement l'efficacité , le lit enclos entre les placards .....

Qualite de l'accueil bonne table cadre agreable

La decoration (revêtement des murs, bandes de cuivre martelé dans la salle à manger) l' architecture se prêterait mieux à des murs blancs, mais c'est personnel et bien sûr subjectif

verifier le changement de literie car j'ai trouvé des traces de clients précédents . vraiment dommage parce que le reste etait bien .
