Location, make sure you get a room with a view, or it's really not worth it! Shower was new and had good shower head.
Was allergic to something in the hotel. Two twin beds instead of a double (even in the "double room"). Not really worth the money. Internet did not work in our room. Staff didn't refill our toilet paper one day when they cleaned (we were entirely out). Bathroom doesn't have a toilet roll holder. Could hear people on both sides of us and in the halls.
Wonderful views from the room and balcony. Bathroom was very modern and fantastic shower but no room to swing a cat.
Very basic furnishings and room which was up two flights of stairs with no lift or help with luggage.
The views are amazing from this quaint little perched village. The Friday market is huge; many different vendors from meats and cheeses to pottery and purses. We found parking too, but in high season that may prove difficult. Out of all the perched villages I loved this one for the scenery on the drive up and down; the two churches stand out in a beautiful cluster of Provençal houses. When we left Bonnieux we went up and out over the top of the village; do it..a must see!
I loved everything about Bonnieux but ONLY if you are unable to walk steep streets you may get "out of puff".
Nice wiev , good food in the restaurant .
Absolutely breathtaking location. Take away the a/c and the television and it was like staying in a Van Gogh painting. Room was simple and spotless. Location near the center of the village was brilliant.
Toilet was a little noisy. Bit of a walk to the parking. If you are tall i.e. over 6 ft, mind your head when going out onto the balcony.
We had to walk up two flights of stairs in different parts of the building. Our room was extremely basic and the beds uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny and the lavatory of the macerator sort therefore noisy. I assume we were paying simply for being in Bonnieux because we have had much better value for money elsewhere in France.
Pierre was very attentive and sincere.
The shower was dispensing hot and cold water inconsistently. The water stopper at the basin broke down. Breakfast was simple for 8Euro.
Dinner was excellent
I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and after 1st night , the cleaner did not supply new shampoo and body liquid soup. no new bath towel and even the cleaner put cleaning agents and dirty wiping cloth on the table. I reflected such things to the counter staff. She said she is not the one to clean my room and even she dont come to the room to correct it and keep silence without any action. Totally unacceptable with such poor response to what I suffered from such hotel . if Booking .com continued to use such poor hotel , I will reconsider another booking channel next trip
The location was lovely
The parking facilities. You have to walk quite a way. When I complained about the noise from another room all night, the manager said it wasn't his problem. The windows rattled all night!
The location is very noisy from traffic throughout the night. Unfortunatly their is no air conditioning so you have to leave the windows open. So the noise is even worse. The en suite was so small we had to leave the door open just to sit on the loo. On our last night the hotel owner, the staff and friends decided to get drunk. They were talking and shouting outside our room until 4am. When i spoke to him, he didnt really care. We wont be going back or recomending this hotel
Location fantastic, room had terrace overlooking the town which made all the difference.
Rooms were basic, but clean and functional, so OK. Rooms without terrace would be quite small.
Typical French Village hotel and food. Fantastic location to enjoy and explore Provence.
No parking due to hillside village location but we were lucky to find nearby street parking. The fantastic location and views well worth this minor inconvenience.
We were returning to this hotel from a stay last year. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the evening sun stays till v late. Good for relaxing.
Last year we had a double room with balcony and it was great. This year we booked a triple room hoping to get the benefit of a larger balcony. In fact it was smaller than the double of last year. Less than 3 feet wide! Don't book ROom No. 8! The mattress was really uncomfortable - should have been replaced. You know when everyone finishes up in the middle that this mattress has gone downhill!
Only a view saves the place
Cheap hostel of a lower class that outragiosly sells as a 3-star hotel. The rooms haven't been renovated for the last 30 years or so. The internet is regularly down and you have to hunt for the owner to restart the router since no other staff is authorized to do such complicated task. The owner himself is not overly friendly either. The day before we booked a room there I asked to see one of the rooms. The hotel was totally empty but he lied that all rooms are occupied - he probably knew that we won't proceed with the reservation once we've seen the rooms. The equipment in the bathroom is dysfunctional - hot water stopped running in the middle of the shower. The flush in the toilet doesn't work properly either. The room stinks of elderly house or a refuge for alcoholics. All in all only the view partly saves the place. But it should never cost unbelievable 85 euro.
the shower was broken you need to update your facilities to the 21st century Value for money
The restaurant of the hotel is amazing! The view of the room and the restaurant is really beautiful too.
We loved the view from our room. It was beautiful.
The scraping of chairs being dragged on the balconies above us at midnight. Maybe some pads on the bottom of the chairs would help this matter.
