Hôtel Sole e Monte  

Nice staff, clean hotel, nice enterier of the room. It is not far away from Ajaccio if you travel by car. Cuttoli-Corticchiato is a charming small village, jut like most villages in Corsica.

The room was comfortable with the most amazing view towards the mountains. The man running the hotel was very friendly and spoke good English... Although it is nice to try and speak some French in return and he was very patient with mine! The food served in the restaurant is out of this world... And served up by a 25-year old lady / magician!!! My main course was a triumph, which included innovative ideas such as a chorizo-flavoured creme brulee - amazing! For dessert, my chocolate fondant was perfect. The house wine was also good, and I was treated to a tasty local drink at the end. Breakfast was French-style, but the selection of breads was most varied and delicious. The best bit of all is the price - this place is outstanding for the money and the best value or anywhere I stayed in Corsica!!! It is also not that far to Ajaccio for the airport, and is sign-posted from the d1.

There are a few dogs around that may keep you awake, there is also no air-conditioning (although a fan is communally available), so it could get a bit hot at the peak of season, but in September it was fine.

Maybe the rooms were a little tired but this was more than made up for by the cleanliness and the views.The owner and staff were hard working and popular as could be seen by the amount of locals that came there to eat and drink each night.This was a hotel with a genuine feel of Corsican hospitality at its best. The restaurant was excellent home made cooking using local produce, we had demi pension brilliant value for money. We will go back there when we return especially for the ambience and the food.

Decor and furnishings were a bit dated.

This is a great place to stay but out of the way high in the mountains. Its close to the city though and Ajuccio can be reached in 20 minutes. We enjoyed our stay there in a really interesting small mountain village.

Accueil au top, le personnel est aux petit soins, cuisine exellente.

Acceuil chaleureux et familiale. Conseil touristique adapté et nourriture exquise. Rien a dire, tout est parfait pour une détente en montagne, avec une vue féérique.

insonorisation des chambres mais je suis très sensible à cette qualité dans un hotel je dois me rendre en 2014 dans cette région et cet hotel sera mon choix.

l accueil excellent !!!! la cuisine qui est très bonne et d excellente qualité propreté de l établissement et des dirigeants gentils qui vous donnent envie de revenir chez eux.

hôtel un peu difficile d accès et pas assez fléché mais dans un joli village alors ce n est pas bien grave!

La posizione in montagna era fantastica!! In un paesino che a prima vista sembra lontano da tutto e da tutti! In realtà si è ad appena 15 km da Ajaccio!!! Il silenzio la notte.... Sembra di stare totalmente da soli. Lo staff dell'hotel è stato supercortese. All'interno dell'hotel poi c'è un ristorante pizzeria dove si mangia molto bene. La wifi è gratutita. E lo staff parla anche l'italiano. Davvero una buona struttura!!

La difficoltà nel trovare l'hotel. Consiglio di mettere almeno uno o due cartelli di indicazione perchè anche se il paese è piccolo le stradine sono strette ed è facile perdersi per chi non sa dove si trova.

Je recommande fortement cet hôtel qui est une pure merveille pour la corse. Un personnel très chaleureux, des chambres avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes verdoyantes, une table très copieuse et succulente. Situé près d'Ajaccio ( seulement une vingtaine de kilomètres) mais en même temps éloigné de la ville, un endroit zen ou il fait bon se relaxer. Et surtout n'hésitez pas à demander conseil pour vos destinations, monsieur s'y connaît parfaitement bien ( merci pour le conseil de muna!) à tout les deux, nous vous souhaitons une très bonne continuation et nous reviendrons vous voir sans aucune hésitation !
