Incredible city in lovely Normandy! A lot of wonderful traditional French architecture, roof tops with ardoise, a lot of boats in the port, seagulls - you will find much more than you can imagine! We like Normandie very much, we stayed in Deauville-Trouville-sur-Mer many times and decided to research sea cost far up to La Havr. So we arrive to Honfleur only just to walk during a day, but - we stayed for night))) and after that for one more night))) If you really like France and especially Normandy, you will never tire of walking there, no matter how long you are there!

A very touristy place to visit.
A very touristy place to visit. Lots of places to eat and drink that get packed very early for lunch and dinner. Not cheap. No need to go back but I can see why some people would be attracted to the quayside etc.

An absolutely lovely town visually, with a 16-17th core and one great modern(ish) art gallery (Eugène Boudin) plus one v quirky museum (Satie). It's stuffed with private art galleries (some of them excellent) and restaurants (most decidedly average, but then even average moules frites are v nice); that's because it's tourism central, with the old part of town wall-to-wall holiday lets and the streets thronged with rubbernecking tourists (including us). The rest of the town, around the edges of the vieux ville, is pleasant enough, with real shops and local inhabitants. The beach, a short way out of town, is long, sandy and vast; the viewpoints above the town are worth visiting both for the views and the quirky Notre Dame de Grace; and Honfleur is well placed for visiting the likes of Deauville and Trouville, Le Havre (another fine museum/gallery, with lots of Raoul Dufy), Etretat (forget the town, it's hell trying to find somewhere to park: make for the gardens up above it), and Calvados country generally (for the local markets and local produce. Like Calvados)

A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived.
A pretty coastal town in Normandy where many artists lived. The Boudin museum is worth a visit. The celebrities sculpture park (Garden of Fame) is great for a walk - beautiful, well maintained, peaceful. (Free public toilets.)The old town has interesting architecture, but the area around the harbour is full of tourists, sundry shops and eating places catering for the crowds....

Honfleur was such a delight , we decided to stay an extra night than originally planned, so much to see.
Plenty of history with historic and beautiful buildings around the harbour.
So many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars.
Every meal we had was delicious, serving time was quite lengthy, everywhere was extremely busy.
A pretty place to visit. I would like to stay again but longer next time.

Honfleur is very pretty, especially the harbour.
Honfleur is very pretty, especially the harbour. It's stuffed with restaurants of all kinds, many specialising in seafood. We went there during very exceptional hot weather (for early September), and it was crowded. It might be better to visit a bit more out of season.
There probably is a beach within walking distance, but having a car we went quite a long way to a fabulous beach at Blonville-sur-Mer, which was recommended by someone from Honfleur. There is a good restaurant on the beach itself.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and our room, albeit a tad small, was really comfortable and we had everything we wanted.
The view from the bedroom window was excellent looking out over the waterfront and the exceptional architecture of Honfleur.
Being really centrally located, we went out and explored beautiful Honfleur knowing our hotel was conveniently close and we were in the middle of everything to enjoy.
We'd certainly stay here again and would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
We enjoyed our stay here alot. The room was comfortable and very clean. The Bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The owner was very warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was nice with fresh croissants and bread. Jams and of course camembert cheese! There was cereal available as well. Fresh apple juice and coffee, etc. We parked our rental car in public parking lot and could walk easily around Honfleur. Great location.
Friendly, helpful owner (apologies for my bad French and the need to use English). Beautiful house and furnishings. 3 comfortable chairs in the room was sheer luxury. Ideal location a few minutes walk from parking in one direction and the harbour, cafes and restaurants in the other.
Perfect stay for us, just a pity we didn't book 2 nights. If passing this direction in future we'd definitely book again.
Perfectly located in the centre of Honfleur just a short walk from the long stay car park (only 6 euros for 24 hours). It is also a restaurant and we had an excellent meal in the evening. Very good price/quality offer - this is not an expensive hotel but the facilities were very good for a short stay. Friendly staff and good welcome as we arrived (we were told about the best car park)
Great location with parking space in historic street very close to Vieux Bassin and amenities in Honfleur. Well equipped house and excellent use of the space in the house to create micro rooms/areas to relax. The children loved the modern cinema room. I was pleased to have a dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine & tumble dryer and a shower with good pressure.
Small boutique hotel located in the heart of the city. Much better then on pictures. Has an atmosphere of France with attention to very small details. Our room was big what is rare case for France. The bathroom contained both a shower and jacuzzi. Great breakfast. Fish market is located just in front of the hotel. And- lovely dog who is leaving here.
Large room with great views a short walk into the sights of Honfleur. It also had a fridge which was very welcome. The hotel itself is wonderfully furnished with very helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Gardens were very good and we ate a picnic there. Pool area is very good with changing facilities, towels and towels, a real sun trap.
The rooms are comfortable and a good value. It is not fancy but everyone was gracious and welcoming. We were there for only one night but wished we’d stayed longer. Honfleur is beautiful and the shops look great. We ate dinner nearby at La Tortue and it was one of our best meals in France. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Location was perfect for beautiful Honfleur with private parking.
Information from François was very good, the local restaurants and food shops list was especially helpful!
Funky lighting, heating, entertainment screen, shutters on windows all controlled by 2 iPads in the property which was very unique!
A wonderful accommodation in the heart of one of Normandy's loveliest towns - Honfleur. The hotel itself sits atop the restaurant and has nice views of the lively street below. The room had plenty of room and was well-appointed. It's located a minute walk from Honfleur's gorgeous harbor.
Super stay and super host! Didn’t have air conditioning but frankly you didn’t need it as long as you kept the fan on while you were out for the day. Very well supplied place and a short walk to everything Honfleur has to offer - wonderful.
A very nicely furnished room. The location was great as it was right in the heart of Honfleur. The large bath room and shower was fantastic and the balcony allowed us to enjoy the evening while watching the hustle and bustle on the streets.
Very clean and within a short walking distance from the harbour of Honfleur. Great location for day trips around the area by car. We spent really nice days there at the end of 2021. The hosts are really nice people. Strongly recommended.
Excellent spot in Honfleur and beautiful hotel. Great value for the price. We have been upgraded to a better superior suite, awesome experience and very good staff.
