All was good
It was very nice stay in Paris. Place is furnished and decorated in very interesting way and at the same time it was comfortable and we have everything we need for few days stay. The breakfast was delicious, owners was so nice and helpful - giving advices about visiting Paris. It was not in the center, but very close to metro station (15-20 minutes to Cite). Safe to walk around even late at night. It was also nice to have a garage to leave a car. Definitely we would chose this place again.
Nice and affordable B&B in the city center of Paris with even a parking spot in their garage. Great location with only a 2 minute walk to subway station Jourdain on line 11. Bernard and Alyette are very welcoming and friendly hosts and offer a nice breakfast and plenty of (golden) tips.
This is not a negative point, but be aware that the poles on the sidewalk make it challenging for (very) wide/long cars to enter.
Location is very convenient as it is only a couple of minutes from the nearest Metro station. The place was very clean and cosy with a unique character. The breakfast was also very nice with home made recipes and bread. We were also very glad to see that there was a parking place for our car-a hard thing to find in the center of Paris.
A microwave in the room could be a good add on.
We are a mature couple, we took our three grandchildren to Paris for 3 days as a special treat. As we live in France, and the children were all born in France there was no language problem, but in fact, M. and Mme Jaubert both speak perfect English. The set up for a family is ideal, much better than a hotel, almost self-catering but not quite, we were completely independent with our own access, the children settled in perfectly. We were made very welcome, given loads of travel tips, and the breakfast was superb. In fact, I think the children would have been happy to sit there all morning just eating. Very easy access to the metro, and just a few minutes walk from a lovely park so we could have a breath of fresh air. Plenty of local shops and restaurants, it felt like being in a village but just a stone's throw from the centre of Paris. We go to Paris quite often, and if we go again with the children, we would definitely book this again.
Only one thing that I personally found a bit difficult, as we live in the country I am used to the bedroom being very dark at night. There was a street light right outside, it shone in, all night, through two quite large windows, the shutters are fixed open, and the curtains are unlined, so for me, I would have liked to have slept better.
Aylette and Bernard are wonderful hosts. They have a wonderful B&B where they provide a comfortable, quaint and artistic place. Providing delicious home made breakfasts.
