Score from 713 reviews Very good
The hotel has an excellent location. Close to the metro station and the Roissy Bus stop. You can walk to the Opera Garnier, Louvre, Place Vendome, and other important places. Recepcionist Pauline was very kind and helpful. You can leave your luggage after your check-out before going to the airport.
The lift, the bed and the bedroom are too small. The wifi worked relatively well in the begining, but in the last days it worked just in the reception. The daily cleaning service could be better.
The staff and the location
Excellent location, just a 5-min walk to Galleries Lafayette etc. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The heater in the room was turned off on its own in the middle of the night which made the room uncomfortable to sleep in winter. Internet connection was intermittent.
Friendly and helpful staff! Location allowed for easy access to the magnificent sights of Paris. Many cafes close by.
I am an early riser, one morning I got up at 5, and went to the lobby to read. There were no lights in the lobby, no way to turn them on, and I did not see any staff until 6 am. Found out that the Lights are turned on at the breaker box. Elevator did not work one day. It is threadbare in places, but everything was clean.
Very friendly and helpful receptionists. Fantastic location.
Minor things in the bathroom (soap not replaced, noise from the cleaning room in the morning)
The friendly people at the reception desk, very helpful. Breakfast very good compared to other ***Hotels in (this neighbourhood of) Paris.
Receptionists are really nice Location is great
kind of small, but it's understandable
Quite good access for Opera sta. and many restaurants. Possible to get to Louvre by walk. Was good we can leave lagadges after checkout.
Bit small closet for winter cloths for both of us.
The location is great near of everything. Fantastic !! I strongly recommend.
Staff Close to metro Restaurants around
Old hotel Small Room too small
I almost always prefer Rue Heldér because it´s so conviniently located.
The room was VERY small even though we were upgraded to a superior room (hah, hah!). We were two small women and had difficulties is getting into the room and the lift. In the bed there was only one deck. No bidé shower in the toilet. Won´t choose again.
the triple room was too small. left no room to walk about
Walking distance to main attractions if u don mind walking
Very cheap prefab interior walls. Thread bare carpets. Clean but overpriced.
The Hotel is very old: Yellowish walls Terrible decoration and furnitures Smelly carpet Dusty bathroom Broken toilet flush (but you can use the toilet of the 5th floor if it's very urgent :) Sheets clean and Location ok. Considering the price of 192 euros the night, I really don't recommend it !!!!
area was brilliant for getting around
had to move bed away from the wall as would have hit my head on the light fitting, lift also very small, lucky to get two people in and then you have luggage. All very run down
Pleasant staff and good location. Air conditioning was very refreshing
Had to sit next to room door to receive Wifi, bathroom ceiling leaked, lock to room door was broken, room was very small and hard to maneuver for 3 beds
The location was excellent, many places to eat and see nearby. The hotel was also pretty close to the metro.
The room was not very sound proof. You could hear people talking next door and the doors opening and closing in the hallway.
Hotel was nice. Good location but the rooms were not sound proof as stated. Wi-Fi not great in the room but generally the hotel was good.
Only the location (very central) and the kindness of the staff.
The reality of the structure is not in line with the expectations after consulting the site and looking at the pictures. The internal areas (stairs, lift) are very badly kept. The room has very decrepit fornitures: the old and dirty rug, the broken bathroom door, the broekn bathroom shelf, the light in the toilet not working properly, the safe not working....We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The price is quite cheap for central Paris and we did not expect luxury for sure, but al least cleaness and some decensy!
Smelly corridors and rooms. Super small rooms.no wifi reception. Too expensive for what it offers
Basic, but for those who want value for money, and location, the hotel suits very well. 1 minute to Opera, department stores and shops, many restaurants and bars. We stay overnight in Paris many times at similar price and this hotel is the best ever.
I loved the breakfast, the staff were wonderful and I could open the windows and get fresh air. Very happy.
