Residence Henri IV  

Third time at this lovely hotel over 7 year period. Value for money especially with kitchenette; quiet & convenient location; courteous & helpful staff; lovely rooms, comfortable beds & sparkling bathrooms.

The rooms were beautiful and the concierge was gracious and helpful. With each room having a small kitchen, we could choose whether to go out at night or stay put and rest our feet. The hotel is only a few blocks away from the metro, or we could walk to Notre Dame and pick up the Bato Bus.

The decor was so warm and beautiful; the bed very comfortable and the location was perfect for everything. You felt you were in the real Paris, although it was in a tourist area - unlike the right bank which was heaving with tourists over Easter. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room - although not large - had a tiny balcony - great when the sun shines again! Peaceful too! We loved it.

An armchair in the room would have been welcome and a kettle - but there was a saucepan! The basement breakfast room could have been warmer!

Good service, clean room and good location for tour.

It's really small hotel. Not just small, but everything is literally small! Timy room, tiny elevator and tiny restaurant... The hotel venue is good for tour, but nearly impossible to find where it is if you are first comer. More seriously, nobody knew this hotel, so we had to walk for an hour with four carriers!

Gorgeous boutique hotel beautifully decorated in the antique french style. We loved everything about it and we're very comfortable especially the beds. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

It's location is fantastic,especially if you want to explore the Latin Quarter and the Marais.The staff were exceptionally professional,helpful and polite.We loved the cosy ambiance of the hotel - we will be back!

The hotel is exactly what you expect for a small Parisian hotel - very nice ambience and very pleasant staff. The bathroom was also an adequate size. I would definitely return.

The room I had was fine for one person, but is not really large enough for two people, as the bed was only a double size

Good location in walking distance to some tourist attractions (Notre-Dame) and Metro station.

It was a well located, individually styled room. It was possible to walk to Norte dame and was near some great restaurants.

I would have liked some tea bags in the room.

The location was fantastic. A relaxing hotel.

Wireless wasn't fantastic but it did work ok for what I needed.

I like the design and the comfort of the room, it is spacious considering the standards of Parisian hotels. By far, this hotel boasts of a bigger comfortable space. The staff are very helpful in directions, suggestions on where to eat. The location is ideal, very near to places of interest and restaurants.

There is no one to help you carry the luggage and the elevator is so tight.

The hotel is nicely located on a quiet side street with quick access to the St. Germain attractions. The hotel staff was superb and extremely helpful in assisting us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The reasonably priced breakfast at 8 Euros per person was nice.

As with most European hotels you cannot switch between heat and a/c which creates climate control issues

Didn't think it was value for money - very highly priced for what it was. Pictures on website slightly misleading.
