Good location, easy walk to the walled town, lovely restraunt "Realis d'Alcase" just around the corner. Very helpful staff. Location seemed a bit commercial when we arrived, but dont let this put you off. Rooms a bit tired, but clean and comfortable.
The location was perfect for us, between the station & the town centre with good parking opposite the hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff, nice bathroom, good breakfast.
The bathroom window didn't open.
A good budget option for a bed for the night. we were late arriving and a note had been left on the front door with a phone number.
The room was advertised as having one single bed and 2 double beds but only turned out to have 1 single and 1 double. A bit awkward when you arrive at 11pm with 3 people and there are no other rooms. this needs to be rectified.
The hotel is a bit far from the main road. It is quite at night except for the chirping of birds in the morning. Staff are all accomodating and helpful esp that we dont speak their language. One staff knows how to speak a little english so it is a relief for us at least somebody can understand us. Our room is fairly clean except for outdated pipes that needs a little lick of paint.
It is not a powerful shower but for the price of the hotel, it is fair enough. The rooms are a little bit outdated but not bad.
The staff was EXCELLENT and were such a breath of fresh air. Very smiley and such a welcoming crew. Would definitely recommend the breakfast in the morning as well!
Parking was immediately outside the hotel. The staff were welcoming and cheerful. The room was good. The breakfast was excellent.
Nothing to dislike
The friendly staff and the comfortable rooms.
Nothing in particular
Just minutes from the train station and easy to find. Short walk to old city. Basic but good.
people friendly hotel
hotel needs a bit of t l c
An outstanding Manager who was extremely helpful. Great location near the train station and a comfortable walking distance to the old city and the Ferries. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Such a comfortable atmosphere.
The owner/manager was really nice helpful man who gave us lots of information. The room was big and the bathroom was even bigger. There were lots of nice restaurants within walking distance and some really nice shops and close to the train station for Paris.
It was a bit far walking from the old walled city of St Malo but later on discovered we could have caught a bus! Too easy!
Very convenient for the rail station and only a shortish walk to wall city and ferries Very helpful and friendly staff Good clean basic hotel

Room a little small
We stayed in room 13 and it was unlucky!! It was terrible. OK the bed was clean but nothing else good to say. The bathroom was disgusting, mould on the walls in the shower yuk yuk. The view is on to corrugated roofs with cats all over.
Good value for money, good service and helpful staff
needs refurbishment especially floors and carpets
Very friendly stuff Little rooms but proper Good location close to the train station and only a 10 min walk from the city centre
Breakfast quite simple
Excellent location, about a 3 minute walk from train station and about 15 minute walk to the St Malo old walled city. Hosts were very helpful.
The staff was very helpful.
The rooms were extremely small.
The staff were friendly. The parking was easy and it was an easy enough walk to the walled town (about 15mins for an elderly man).
A bit of damp around the windows and the walls seemed a bit thin - potentially it could have been difficult to sleep if there had been noisy neighbours.
