Close to the ski lifts (2 mins walk), classic french breakfast, WiFi availability.

Diane is a wonderful hostess and we were treated very well throughout our stay. Breakfast is great and includes a warm croissant. The best thing about Brides is that you're at the end of the gondola line, so you will get a cable cabin and a seat, even at peak times.

The excellent hotel restaurant is only open on weekends. We would have been happy to eat there more times during our week-long stay.

Clean basic hotel ideal for cost effective way of skiing 3 valleys. Decent location of hotel within the limits of brides les bains. Good wifi, breakfast is good if not spectacular. Overall really good value.

Difficult to fault for the price. Probably not the place to come for a luxurious romantic break and more generally BLB if you want to ski from your doorstep.

The owners were very friendly and concern about their guests comfort. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were recently renovated. The bathroom was big and the shower had tons of water pressure ! Bottom line, this is a great friendly place, perfectly located for a ski trip (5 minutes walk from the Gondola). It's a owner operated hotel and it creates a nice countryside friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a budget hotel, I definitely recommend this place.

Отель нам понравился, персонал доброжелательный, особенно ресепшионист Диана,которая помогла нам во всем,спасибо ей отдельное. Комнаты просторные, уютные, завтрак чисто европейский, но нам хватало :-) подъемник находится в 2-х шагах от отеля.

La bonne volonté

Le manque de professionnalisme dans tous les détails. La bonne volonté ne pallie pas le manque de professionnalisme. 2 étoiles,d'accord; 3 étoiles,c'est trompeur.

L'amabilité des patrons, la simplicité. L'hôtel est idéalement situé pour aller découvrir le domaine des 3 Vallées.

Relación precio/calidad muy buena, cerca del remonte que te sube a Meribel, aunque hay una cuesta cojonuda (poco más de 100m). Muy amable la señora del hotel.

L'hôtel est bien situé et a été rénové avec beaucoup de charme et de goût.L'accueil des patrons est tout simplement fantastique et leur sourire invite au partage et à la discussion. Comme je me suis blessé le deuxième jour de mon séjour, j'ai dû anticiper le départ d'un jour. La patronne ne m'a rien demandé pour payer le solde dû. C'est super. Bien mieux, la veille, mon épouse et mon fils ont fait le déplacement depuis la Suisse pour me rapatrier: mon épouse a pu dormir dans ma chambre et pour mon fils, on a réussi à mettre un matelas dans la chambre de jeunes gens qui faisaient partie du groupe. Le lendemain, quand j'ai voulu régler ces 2 nuits imprévues, la patronne m'a gratifié d'un sourire en disant que cela ne coûterait rien. C'est tellement rare ce geste qu'il mérite d'être signalé.Merci pour ce geste désintéressé et fort apprécié. Je ne peux que conseiller cet établissement et le jour où je retourne à Brides-les-Bains, c'est sans hésitation à l'Hermitage que je séjournerai. ( ne vous cassez quand même pas la figure pour bénéficier de ce genre d'attentions:) Michel, Valais

J'ai passé un très agréable séjour à "L'hermitage". L'accueil est chaleureux, la chambre confortable et spacieuse. Des salons extérieurs permettent de se détendre agréablement. Je recommande cet établissement.

The mattress on the bed was very comfortable.

Le jacuzzi et le repas du soir

Honest, unexpensive alternative to the overpriced Meribel area. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. The bedroom had been recently painted and you could smell it. The ski room was convenient.

Bride les Bains is a poor alternative to Meribel. The town offers very little as far as services and is 30 minutes from the skiing areas in Meribel. For Brides les Bains to become a viable alternative the gondola operating hours would have to be extended. The hotel basically didn't have staff on-site which delayed check-in/check-out and left me for days without the wifi code for example untill I found it on a bulletin board. Breakfast wasn't worth showing up.

La gentillesse du personnel, le calme, la proximité du télécabine pour accéder à Méribel.

Le temps de montée du télécabine jusqu'à Méribel mais quand on le sait on comprend mieux le coût attractif des prestations de Bride les Bains et sa tranquillité
