Beautiful environment / friendly staff / good location for Lille city center In huge contradiction with all the rest of this beautifull hotel, all food-related issue are weak : breakfast very limited / quality of food in brasserie not at all what you might expect from this kind of hotels. So, eating out is a recommendation :-) |

the hotel would benefit from a nicer welcome to returning clients on arrival .An upgrade is something done at many hotels but not at l'Hermitage it seems.Too bad because it is a sure way to get the loyalty from a client! |

Beautiful surroundings, relaxing ambience, stylish. The cost of breakfast. Euro 19 is just too much for croissants!! We went outside of the hotel to eat, which spoilt it for us. Would happily have paid Euro 10 - but 19 was just wrong. |

The interior of the hotel is stunning, with a luxurious blend of old and ultra-modern. Loved the room (comfortable 'traditional double room') and the modern bathroom. |

As soon as we entered this hotel we knew it was going to be an experience, and it was. We could not fault it at all. It was ideal for a perfect weekend away for my husband and I with no children. |

The hotel was very well layed out and impressive throughout. The courtyard area, which was the bar, had a lovely atmosphere in the evening. The checking in process could of been friendlier. |

The hotel is a beautiful building, well restored and very restful. The room was a decent size and quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the toen centre. |

Staff were attentive and extremely helpful, the design of the hotel is impressive,and the location is convenient for exploring the town. Parking is hit and miss, and the air con was not effective in the room. |

Delightful hotel, sympathetically restored - retaining the historical ambience with all the modern convenineces. Lovely room with nice extra touches e.g.the petits fours welcome basket. Delicous breakfast and top quality cuisine in the restaurant |

zeer tevreden over het verblijf: goede ligging, mooi kader, vriendelijk personeel, zeer lekkere cocktails, mooie kamer en uitstekende ontvangst, voortreffelijk ontbijt (hoewel de keuze niet zo ruim was), leuke extraatjes (hapjes bij de cocktails, toiletproducten op de kamer,...) geen douche bij de sauna, op de bedden geen donsdekens maar gewone lakens+dekens, er moest betaald worden voor internet, geen radio op de kamer (in deze prijsklasse verwacht je dat een tv meer kan dan enkel tien posten weergeven), zéér dure dranken in de bar en in de mini-bar |

It was in a beautifully restored building, very tastefully done and really relaxing. We ate in the brasserie the first night and in the gourmet restaurant on the last night. Both were excellent. It was located a little out of the centre of Lille in an area which did have quite alot of people begging and drinking in groups on wasteland. I would have hesitated walking in the area on my own at night. Daytime was fine however. |

Nicely renovated hotel and rooms with luxury bathrooms. The bathrobes were a nice touch. Given there were quite a lot of english people staying there, it would have been helpful if the menu had been in English. We didn't want to pay 45 euros for a meal when we weren't sure what it was! |

The staff were very helpful and polite. The brasserie was excellent value. Our room was very small and badly equipped. We felt it was poor value for money. Also, it was a bit too far from the centre of town for us. |
