Very little Rooms are tiny. Beds are hard. There's no fire exit, only a single chimney like stairwell. Fire doors were blocked open, and those that weren't had gaps in them you could poke a bagette through. Corridors were barely wider than my shoulders. |

The location is very good, especially for events in Bercy. When I made my booking I wasn't informed that the hotel is currently undergoing renovation. There were electric wires dangling about, some flights of stairs were covered with plastic, drywall and dust everywhere. |

I don't believe customers were given prior notice that the hotel is currently being renovated. This could be a problem for anyone who suffers from dust allergies. The hotel doesn't have safe deposit boxes or in-room safes so you are left feeling a bit uncomfortable about protecting your valuables. |

Great location - especially as we needed to catch an early morning train from Gare de Lyon (just a few yards away) when we left. Good choice of eating places close by. Room small but clean, and fine for a short stay. Noise, surprisingly, was not a problem (from either outside or inside the hotel). Would definitely stay here again. |

Very cosy room and handy for train station. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Unfortunately the lift stopped 11/2 floors below my room and the stairs were quite steep. |

staff were abrupt and un-helpful the electrics were exposed in the ceiling right over the door to our room the carpet was coming up in the corners bathroom was extremely small and only had a shower curtain not screen so the floor got soaked i will not be using or recommending this hotel again i expected more from a 2 star |

friendly desk staff spoke english, convinent to train bus metro good showers but small barthroom new towels soap daily re question 4 we chose it for its rates in that location we wanted we would stay there again good value for money we felt safe and everyone friendly and room very clean we liked it but should say that the barthroom is small but great hot shower and very clean |

I can recommend this hotel only for spending night before train from Gare de Lyon. Helvetia isn't suitable for long staying (more then 2 days) at all. Extrimely small rooms, a lot of noise.... There wasn't even a door beetwen room and bath in my single... |

Good location close to railway station. Plenty of reasonable eating places in the area. Whilst the rooms were adequately furnished the staircase/corridors were in a poor state (with exposed pipes, wiring etc) which did not give a good impression. |
