Design, facilities, quality of breakfast
Like others indicate, some ceilings are low and stairs steep, because the nature of the building
Caroline our host was very friendly and kind. She took care to show us around the house and helped us settle down after a long and tired drive. She even offered to move her car away so we could park right outside the house for convenience. We declined it but it was a very nice gesture. The room was splendid. It was very well and creatively designed. It was just charming to stay there.
We liked almost everything
We had a room in the 1st floor, and there was no lift, a bit unhandy when travelling with small kids.
Charming host and lovely property.......and of course the garden.
Nice B&B with friendly staff and very nice rooms! Also the livingroom which you can use is very cosy! Nespresso coffee is a big plus! Audio system is a nice gadget...
Very comfortable, it is not an hotel. good place to take a rest if you look to be quite
Price little bit high for the situation in a very small village
This was one of the best places we have stayed at; beautiful village, nice people, nice old house. There was no feeling of cheapness with anything; from the towels, the bed, the shower heads(yes, 2 of them) to the lovely free coffee and tea, automatic blinds, free wifi and modern streaming music players. In local restaurant Brigandville we were surprised by the nice modern surroundings, but more so by the great food; lovely fresh tasting, good use of spices and even vegetarian if you want. We will be back!
We loved absolutely everything about L'Hibernie. Caroline is a charming and wonderful hostess giving us good travel advice for Paris. She speaks English beautifully which made it easy. The property is luxuriously and elegantly decorated. Breakfast was delicious and generous. A picturesque village not far from Paris. You must stay here!
Out of the ordinary: This hotel – B&B - accommodation is something out of the ordinary, one seldom encounters. Not that much impressive from the outside as from the inside, but once indoors you’ll be convinced. The lady host Caroline is charming and dedicated to make your stay a grand pleasure. The village is picturesque; not exactly very much of today’s hurrying times. A stroll through the village will tell you much of the ancient times, wonderful sceneries, just half an hour drive away from Paris centre. The four bedrooms are decorated with an eye for detail, and a music sound system with a wide variety of playlists makes your stay even nicer. The breakfast is superb and the taste of the bread from the local bakery is impressive. Highly recommended.
size and comfort of room, friendliness of staff, location, very much a value
