staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is delicious with lots of varieties.
1. lack of bell staffs as there's nobody helping me for luggage during arrival and departure 2. paid internet service 3. the door of my room is hard to open
Easy short taxi (50Euro) journey from airport or has car park for drivers Large spacious immaculately clean rooms Location great for walkers with beautiful park behind and Saone and Rhone rivers close by 30 mins walk to city center Breakfast great
Whats not to love
Good size room and bathroom Close to bus station
Executive club was a waste - breakfast was cold, and poor choice of food A bit out of the city centre but good bus connection
The staff relation was very good.t
Awesome Bed- Best I have slept in Big room size Good location Good Breakfast
I requested an additional bed in my booking, it wasn't in the room when i arrived When bed arrived bell boy stuck out his hand for a tip Sink was broken and despite several complaints to fix it nothing was done Great hotel but in need of renovation particularly the bathrooms and corridors Parking is extortinate for Lyon
Equipment and design of the facility. Room is excellent.
Staff very slow (I had to wait 15 min for check in and out) and do not respect the hour of opening the restaurant (I had to wait 10 min).
Location, quiet, clean, within easy access to important areas within the city
Lack of free Internet facilities
- the staff at the reception were very friendly and some of them are arabic and muslims, they upgraded our room and gave us the room with a balcony facing the garden and the lake which was an amazing view. - nice products in the bathroom. - very quiet hotel good for relaxing. - quick service when we ask them to get our luggage and also when bringing our car from the parking.
- didn't complain or have problem with anything, but i feel that the breakfast would have more variety of food regarding to the price.
Standard European Hotel
no complimentary breakfast
The staff were very helpful. Secure on site car parking Wonderful public park behind the hotel
As the location is in an under used shopping mall, it lacked atmosphere as you could have been in any country in the world. Incorrect information given to us at reception regarding which tram to catch into the old city. We landed up in the wrong part which was of no interest to us. The evening menu in the Brasserie hardly altered during our 4 night stay, which might explain why it was nearly always empty.
So much better than Sofitel or any other brand. If you want to stay in Lyon, this is your best choice.
Easy to find, very friendly and helpful. Really good meals. The price is lower than others in the area. Request the car to be parked for you. It does not matter which side of the hotel you are on, however, we did request a river view and were moved on request. The park opposite has a free zoo inside, well worth a walk.
Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help when it turned out we had made reservations for the wrong evening. Very accommodating with children and pets. Lovely public park nearby with excellent landscaping.
Hotel appeared to be in a business complex and all restaurants within walking distance were closing at dinner time. We ended up ordering room service, which was lovely but a bit on the expensive side.
Excellent location for attending a conference in the neaby conference centre. My room had a lovely view over the park. A very good breakfast and buffet dinner. I could check out late (15h30) without having to pay extra.
Internet access in the room at Euro 20 per 24 hours is ridiculous. The air conditioner started leaking watter during the night; even though they fixed it quickly, it started leaking again after two days but they again fixed it quickly. I left before it started leaking again...
Clean spacious room. Executive lounge was a great extension of our room. Nice wines and appetizers. Breakfast was somewhat simple but always fresh with some creativity. Nice place to relax.
Location to the city was not the best but the bus ran frequently or a cab would work as well. Not walking distance to anything other than the complex which was business oriented and not for the leisure traveler.
Location ,concierge. Very accommodating and helpful. Near to great park and easy transport to downtown Lyon.
No jacuzzi. Not working. Very poor fitness room. Lack of attention to detail. Used doorknob breakfast menu on first day, could not use again as it was never replaced. Need to learn what over easy means. Very well done eggs. Brasserie buffet same everyday. Salads looked tired some dishes empty never replenished A single piece of fish left in a warmer with a dry sauce crust looks moronic.
We really appreciated being lent big umbrellas. We needed them! The wide range of times for breakfast was helpful, and so was the food. We liked being near the Parc du Tete D'Or.and walked round it.
The duvet on my bed was too warm for hot weather but throwing it off left me feeling cold. It would have been good to have had sachets of drinking chocolate in the room and fresh milk.
just about everything especially the staff--very helpful throughout the hotel.
very rough and uncomfortable shower tray.
Everything nice and peaceful In the exec lounge. Lovely breakfast on leaving
That the restaurant was closed and the cocktail bar.
Bed Executive Lounge Room was large Nice balcony Great open space on floors Plenty of seating areas Great friendly staff Nice breakfast Awesome location
No wifi Parking is expensive
WI-FI was very expensive 20 EUR, every hotell where were visited was free of charge
Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are lively, good choice for breakfast and parc tete d'or is a 2 min walk, great if u have children
Not central , taxi 15 euros
Staff were very helpful and understanding (we have an 18 month old!).
No free WiFi in room.
- location in front of beautiful park and next to modern art museum - well trained staff, very nice receptionist speaking perfect Polish - jacuzzi with river view
It was below the level I'd expect from Hilton: - no power sockets at the bed and only two sockets in the room, which means that you cannot charge your phone and have it handy and you are not able to charge you phones and eg. a laptop, unless you travel alone... - no swimming pool - some areas with difficult access for disabled/stroller, not very well designed - broken ironing board - overpriced minibar, big bottle of still water 7Euro - restaurant (Thai Blue Elephant) closed for summer, only a brasserie with limited choice available - scrambled eggs for the breakfast were inedible, probably made not from eggs but from egg powder - musty smell in the hotel's corridors - 20 Euro per day for WIFI access!
