Easy to find, very friendly and helpful. Really good meals. The price is lower than others in the area. Request the car to be parked for you. It does not matter which side of the hotel you are on, however, we did request a river view and were moved on request. The park opposite has a free zoo inside, well worth a walk.
Clean spacious room. Executive lounge was a great extension of our room. Nice wines and appetizers. Breakfast was somewhat simple but always fresh with some creativity. Nice place to relax.
Location to the city was not the best but the bus ran frequently or a cab would work as well. Not walking distance to anything other than the complex which was business oriented and not for the leisure traveler.
just about everything especially the staff--very helpful throughout the hotel.
very rough and uncomfortable shower tray.
Everything nice and peaceful In the exec lounge. Lovely breakfast on leaving
That the restaurant was closed and the cocktail bar.
Bed Executive Lounge Room was large Nice balcony Great open space on floors Plenty of seating areas Great friendly staff Nice breakfast Awesome location
No wifi Parking is expensive
WI-FI was very expensive 20 EUR, every hotell where were visited was free of charge
Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are lively, good choice for breakfast and parc tete d'or is a 2 min walk, great if u have children
Not central , taxi 15 euros
Staff were very helpful and understanding (we have an 18 month old!).
No free WiFi in room.
- location in front of beautiful park and next to modern art museum - well trained staff, very nice receptionist speaking perfect Polish - jacuzzi with river view
It was below the level I'd expect from Hilton: - no power sockets at the bed and only two sockets in the room, which means that you cannot charge your phone and have it handy and you are not able to charge you phones and eg. a laptop, unless you travel alone... - no swimming pool - some areas with difficult access for disabled/stroller, not very well designed - broken ironing board - overpriced minibar, big bottle of still water 7Euro - restaurant (Thai Blue Elephant) closed for summer, only a brasserie with limited choice available - scrambled eggs for the breakfast were inedible, probably made not from eggs but from egg powder - musty smell in the hotel's corridors - 20 Euro per day for WIFI access!
The location was excellent; far from the hectic of city center however close to the city center thanks to regular buses and trams taking you down town. The Tête d'Or Parc and Le musée de l'Art contemporain as well as numbers of restaurants make your stay on the spot pleasant.
Not having free access to Wifi in the rooms.
you cant hire out your only restraunt open on a sunday night for a wedding and not open up another. The hotel addvertisers having restraunt not being forced to have room service
Room needs refreshing
convenient location 1 min walk to the new Congress centre (Cite International), a fascinating big park near. Big rooms and bathrooms, the rooms are equipt with everything one needs.Suitable for business trips.
breakfast could be better.
Staff went out of there way to assist us as needed - courteous, professional, quick to assist. Best experience in a long time
Would prefer coffee being available I'm room plus breakfast more individualized. Wasn't pleased with just a buffet or continental breakfast. Need to offer customers something "in between".
Location and views from the Hotel, overlooking the river and city
Mice / Vermin / Rodents in the executive lounge !
Invisible staff, clean rooms, nice restaurants
A little bit complicated 2-building architecture
Good location due to an easy access to bus station. Also, existence of a beautiful park near hotel.
Old Woden furniture and the balcony is covered with a glass shield.
1. I had to wait for my order in the Brasserie for almost one hour. No adequate reaction from staff. ("It is on its way" more than 2 times.) Finally I left the restaurant without having received my order. "Poor" is a mild qualification!
The Blue Elephant was the best dining experience we had in France. The rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The concierge desk delivered exceptional service especially the day we left and had difficulties getting the gps to bring up Lyon airport. Location was tops! Loved the vibe, convenience and relaxed surrounds ie. park
The Brasserie never did get around to taking our dinner order, we walked out and got room service.
The staff was very polite and helpful.the made us feel at home.
good service and staffs
the shower in the suite does not work.
breakfeast was a mess with young and nice but totally uneffective waitresses
Staff at the reception
If you check out early prior to the Brazzerie opening then there is no possibility of breakfast
Very spacious room, comfortable beds.
Water pressure was dismal, shower temperature constantly changing - permanent danger of scalding while in the shower.
