Nothing at all. Reasonably clean
Room smelled of stale smoke, had to jump over the toilet to get to the shower. Wifi didn't work for first 2 hours, Guy behind the desk was unpleasant. Tiny tv. Windows antiquated, can hear what's going on in the street outside.
Pretty good location. Online discounted price made the cons worth it.
very cramped - especially bathroom. comforter looked like it came from WWII. Room seemed like a really cheap hotel but the price was not that cheap. 1st time in Paris so maybe this is normal.
Location is quite nice
There is no free wifi in the hotel, which is quite weird.
That we finally got to check out of this rat hole since we could not get a refund.
Mattresses were tilted so that you might fall out of bed. Holes in bathroom ceiling. Filthy old shower curtain. Shower stall too small. Phone booth sized elevator. Room and bathroom not cleaned all week. Tiny hallways. Impolite and rude desk person. Worn out room and hall carpet. Loud neighborhood with people yelling during the night. Not enough light in the room. Window curtain was ugly and worn. Dark red color of walls. Pay extra for wifi that seldom worked only for short intervals.
The cheapest I could find in time.
The shower curtain smelled of urine.
poor audio insulation, you can hear all the plumbing noises and TV's and phones of the nearby rooms, bathroom really small (airplane type), squeaky floors, breakfast charged 7 euros extra, very basic
near the Metro station
dirty hotel. room small and dirty. small bathroom with no window and dirt. stained carpet and bad smell
Staff were mostly very helpful.Bed was very comfortable.Breakfast met my needs.
An older member of staff was a bit abrupt at first.
The staff called us a cab when we needed to leave
It would have been fine if it had only cost 60-80 euro rather than 200
Room and wifi
Location quite near to a metro station, the staff could speak english
breakfast expensive for what they serve
I liked the fact that this Hotel was close to certain amenities such as bus, metro, supermarket, restaurants...but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of central Paris. Local park for children or just for strolling/relaxing. Friendly, helpful housekeeping staff.
Building work noise! Miserable reception staff/owners! No kettle/facilities for tea in rooms! Phone not connected to reception (meaning journeying down 5 floors for enquiries! The tightness of the bathroom! Pictures advertising Hipotel's rooms/suites are misleading portraying more space than actually available!
Location excellent for visiting Jim Morrisons grave and apartment and clubs etc
Bare wires taped together with Sellotape on the television cable needless to say we didn't use it
Help from staff
Clean shower Close to famous cemetery & metro One line can take you to Paris centre Rooms are small as per usual in Paris but clean with slightly outdated style
Not very flexible on cancellations even after 2 minutes of wrong booking It's best to grab metro to hotel, nothing exciting along the route from Le Republic 110 room's view is outside and had some mattresses as view.
The bad outweighed the good..
The internet didn't work at all, and the staff didn't know how to fix it. When I was sleeping, there were so many noises... from outside my door and also outside my window. Things like hammering, people talking, and also a lot of flushing water sounds from outside my window that were really loud and disturbed my sleep. Also the window would either be completely open or closed itself, there was no way to make it slightly ajar. On top of that, the toilet wouldn't flush well. In my opinion this hotel really doesn't deserve 3 stars.
Good location: close to metro, Carrefour nearby.
Thin walls, we could hear neighbours talking on the phone at 7 am, or flushing their toilets. Unhelpful receptionists. No free wi-fi. Only one of six electric sockets worked in the room. Room cleaning was poor - dirty glasses were simply left on a tray on the table.
The place is not far from the center. The room is small, but it has most of the things you need in your stay at Paris.
It's like the staff need to practice the customer service. The elevator has a lot of problems.
location,neighbourhood,bathroom was ok,good price
it was smaller room but not claustrophobic :D elevator is way to small literaly for one person and one small bag and the bigest problem was wifi,NO free wifi..everything was fair only wifi ;)
Value for price, comfortable sleep overnight.
Hallways noise: you could easily hear doors slamming shut late into the night and conversation in the hallway.
That it was a hotel
That it was a hotel?
The staff were friendly and helpful. There were 4 bus lines close by which provided easy accessibility to anywhere in Paris. The room was good sized. There were also several restaurants near the hotel.
There was no air conditioning. The bathroom was very small.
bathroom was filthy
