The hotel is very dirty, mold on walls,in shower smells of wee, no pillows on the bed, towels are dirty and old. No cleaning service, floor is sticky. Poor in all aspects. Not worth saving money, some hostels are better then this hotel!
The price, the cleanliness, the location
Decor felt like cheap student halls
The hotel room had a smell, the shower room was so small I could hardly turn around. No TV, no carpet. I could barely sleep the first night because all of the noise other guests were making in the corridor and on the staircase.
I liked the connectivity to Gare du Nord / Est.
The area surrounding hotel in Bellevile was a red light area and not good for family stay. The lighting in small staircase on 3rd / 4th floor was poor and could lead to accidents. the room was not cleaned daily. the noise of traffic in room was terrible. one can not open windows of the room as they open to residences in opposite lane.
The entire place, just ugly!
A clean and peaceful place further from main street. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Lidl and nearest metro station are just around the corner.
Shared bathroom is way too small. No carpets in corridors and stairs can make it very noisy.
The cleanliness of the hotel, the place was disgusting, I have stayed in hotels that have similar prices and have never seen a hotel as disgusting as this with such a poor quality of facilities -rooms were damp and stank, full of mould etc.
There was mold all through the bathroom. Cockroaches everywhere. It was so dirty and did not even look clean. We ended up not even staying there.
They changed my room to ground floor when they saw I couldn't carry my bags up three flights (no elevator). They recommended lovely cafe next door for breakfast (6 E)--they do not serve breakfast.
Very surly when I arrived; would not let me store bag till giving me room, not available until 2 PM. Nobody even gave me a hand with my heavy suitcase although there were two able-bodied man standing there. No phone in room, even to call desk. Light over bed did not work. No glass in bathroom. Walls stained and general sordid appearance. Work in progress down the hall, lots of building materials stored in hallway and outside in so-called garden, i.e., smoking area, just outside the window. Small insects on floor crawling (I don't think bedbugs, just because no grouting between tiles maybe. No bites.) at night. Did not change towel after one night, had to ask for another towel. Would not let me make phone call (I don't have cell phone for Europe). If I had not paid in advance I would have left when I saw the room. Close to metro but bad neighborhood and NOT easy from Gare de l'Est except by taxi.
Two nights for €88
No toilet seat. Repirted it but was not fitted. Shower head rail on floor broken. Reported it but nit fitted. Mildrew in shower ceiling and room walls. Currently doing renovations which obviously are not quiet. WIFI signal drops. No TV in room. No pillows except a long snake thing. We were not looking forward to returning to the Chinese owned Hotel after touring Paris!
good sleep , quiet
bug in bed
it is located in Paris
1. very expenisive for what it offers, because it offers almost nothing. 2. the photos online do not correspond to the real rooms. 3. there is no elevator, rooms smell badly and some of the ground floor rooms are very dirty. 4. I have found a big spider in my room. 5. the towels were already wet!
The staff was helpful by allowing us to print a booking reference for a bus trip for free. They were also helpful when our key stopped working and replaced it immediately.
The toilet seat was missing from the toilet on our floor - had to go upstairs to go to the toilet. The shower floor was nasty and always drenched unless you were the first one to shower. None of the facilities were clean, the floor of our room had not been vacuumed and the ceiling was water damaged. There was no ventilation in our room so it smelled bad whenever the window wasn't open. You could hear all the other guests through the walls. The only reason I didn't change hotel was because this was the cheapest id found (and it was very cheap) and so I didn't want it to cost me anymore. But I would definitely not recommend this to anyone else. My partner and I brought out own sheets and made the bed with those because we refused to sleep on their sheets, on which we found hairs that didn't belong to us - they did not seem clean.
price - we booked this hotel reading the reviews but gave it a go for the price and only for one night...which is where I would draw the line at staying staff were friendly
damp in corners of room bathroom smelt damp
NO TV # DIRTY - LEAKAGE - BROKEN BED - FUNGUS IN BATH. VERY DISGUSTING. DO NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL.
Cool receptionist. No problems with check-in/check-out.
Water leakage, 100% humidity, very unhealthy environment.
Located near the metro station and Lidl; a staff member helped us with the plug adapter.
Everything was dirty:linen, towels, walls,foors..They haven't swept the floor hor a long time before wew came, There was no light in the toilet , the floor shower was out of service, we had to use the one from the first floor. It was a disgusting place to staym awfull experience
The ubication is good
The room and the building are funged
friendly staff easy to reach good place if all you want is a hot shower and a place to sleep
Got charged for wifi even though it didn't work. Refund was refused.
We had dirty bath, bedclothes from previous visitors, no towels and somebody's hair all over the floor
The location was clean and did not have the dingy smell that many other Paris locations have. We opted for a room with a private bathroom which turned out to be an excellent idea, the line for the public shower was ~2 hours long on some mornings. We were not worried about anyone stealing our things and the view to the patio was lovely!
The down side is that the internet was not free (3 euro a night per device) and would constantly disconnect and require you to re-login. The attached bathroom could have used a little bleaching and had a leak in the faucet which required a towel on the bathroom floor. However, considering the price of the accommodations and the prior hotel we stayed at in Paris this place was an excellent value. As long as you check your 5-star standards at the door and can deal with a little mold then you will be fine.
The entrance was a hole. Staff didnt care. The floor of the room was sticky. we had toilet and shower in the room. toilet seat lay next to the toilet. the glass shower screen fell out when opening the shower. Mold everywhere. the smell of mold too. the worst was the the blanket where the vomit of a former guest was present in lumbs.
