It was basic - no tv or phone, but it was warm and clean. Ideal for my twelve year old son and me. Two minutes walk to Simplon metro station, and plenty of shops and cafes nearby.
The cleaner tidied away a bag which I was using as a bin, but which also contained brioche and a dozen bars of chocolate.
The bathroom is new and very clean.
The bed has only thin sheets and pillows. There is no quilt or duvet on top so you must bring your own heavy blanket in the winter or you will be extremely cold, similar to sleeping outside, because the radiator is very small and the room is drafty. The hairdryer did not work. Each time we tried to use it the electricity in the entire bathroom went out. The hallway was being remodeled which was understandable but disruptive. It made our room smell like paint all hours of the day and night and the door was blocked by a ladder each morning when we tried to get out. The room was simple but very tidy and otherwise well taken care of however, so I would say it is generally a very good value for the money if you can take these other things in stride.
Room was recently re-done. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water and light. Really nice and accommodating staff. Close to metro
David on front desk very helpful, explained all metro links to popular tourist destinations. And a very friendly chap
- no electricity socket for charging my phone. - no lights in the bath room. - no place to put my clothes. - no covers for the bed. - no blanket
Nothing there. Even the room was not clean. Only toilet was good.
the hotel is good the staff are so friendly n so helpful i like
I need to pay for the wifi conection i dont like that
the hotel was quite near the metro station and check in was quite smooth.
well, me and my girlfriend had a terrifying night there. We went back to the hotel at mid night, and from the corridor leading to our room ( only our room and another one), we already listened some fighting noise inside the room next to ours. After we back in, we keep hearing a women was being torturing by a few men for an hour... It was very terrifying! We can't move out even we wanted to as we are sticked with that room inside a small corridor, and we don't know whether the noise made by our luggage will alarm anyone inside that room, therefore we were kinda forced to be stayed there. Until one hour later, the men finished the last hit to the women which make a loud noise on the wall and a last scream by the women, the men moved out the room and no more sound produced in that room... It was a very terrifying experience, and I suspect they were someone agreed with the hotel to let them torture the women there
Staff were friendly
No elevator, Very bad internet only for one device and we had to pay for it, not clean, very messy.
The place was really close to a metro station, which enabled us to travel easily in the morning. Although we only needed a place to sleep, it was comfortable and well heated (a big plus given the freezing outside temperatures).
The suburbs were not the best, and the common places (corridors and so on) were not very well cleaned.
blankets were soft
very depressing place staff did not care to read booking.com messages hall lighting didn't work at all
I loved the location & the staff were very helpful. Good value for the dollars
Clean room and bed.
A lot of noises from a street. Need to repair a bath room.
Very hard to find, in need of a refurb...or knocking down
I didn't like anything .. so bad service .
It was so expensive according to the bad service in the hotel , broken staff in the bathroom , unclean towels , the hotel not calm , the TV doesn't work .
location, cleanliness, new bed linen and towels every day
they close at 10 pm, no reception after it, you need to use another door to enter...scary. poor lights in the corridors, not-operating TV
A one inch piece of foam on hard wood as a bed materess. Loud music played by locals past 2 am.
Staff VERY helpful, pleasant & informative Hotel clean & quiet enough and the busy bar next door did'nt intrude too much. Room sufficient size bathroom pokey but Paris after all. Firm bed
Big car show Paris so price hiked considerably.....our fault for not booking.
Very noisy environment. No curtains. Very delicate door and window locks. Nothing really impressive or Fair.
All aside, the place is located in a terrible district (Paris 18). Its absolutely unsafe to walk the streets at dark. There is a shady bar right below the hotel. The entire night we had to listen to zilliin bar fights, women shouting and what not. I would say spend more, a lot more if need be, but do not stay in this area.
i liked the location its very close the metro station Simplon
The hotel is not clean, they don't change bed sheets, no cleaning, toilets are not good it looks so old
Verey poor hotel
Clean sheets Near metro Didn't see cockroaches
Dirty floor, dirty toilet, dirty curtains, bad smell, old, small, noise from the bar/disco in the same building until late, dark street, TV not working, reception closes at midnight.
