The location is great, close to the Sacre Coeur and has 3 metro stations within 5 minutes walk. Easy to get around the city. We were a couple with a 7 year old child, the room we were assigned was adequate for our needs. We were on a tight budget and found the room had what we needed and was a good base for us, somewhere to put our heads after a hard days sightseeing.
The decor is old and the hotel could do with an update, but I think the price would then go up, this is a good option for a budget traveller.
I liked that you could get onto the underground quite well from the accomodation
The bed bugs in our bed and over 250 bites on my body. And... We didn't even get all of our money back after I showed them my bites.
very close to the underground station, shops and cafes nearby
the window so close to the next building we could easily chat with neighbours and check what they were cooking you nead to pay for wi-fi (!)
Smelled a bit wierd like instant noodles. Also the hallways and reception was not so clean or inviting. Vending machines were broken.
the hotel is very closed to metro station. we have not spent lots of time in the hotel.
the receiptioner was kind and help to find famous interesting place in Paris. He printed out the bordingpasses. We could keep our lagguages at receptioner until we went to airport.
Kind Staff, very near to metro Simplon.
Since last year the hotel is part of the Hipotel Group and are the rooms more expensive to book: that means the relation price-quality is more poor then before.
The decor of the room. It had two windows so it was fresh and downstairs was a fridge we could use.
The lavatory was dirty when we arrive. The shower was very small and it was a bit dangerous to climb it down. Besides, the shared bathroom didn't have a sink.
Bad client service ever and bad stuff push them self in guests privacy area in selfish way
Location was close to a Metro station. It was not too difficult to find. It was cheap.
Terrible facilities. Most toilets did not have a sink. There were bed bugs in our bed and we had to change rooms twice because of this issue and we seen the same issue in different rooms. We lost a lot of sleep over this. It caused us to sleep in the next day and ruined our plans. They would not give me a refund at all when I asked for one. The bed bugs ruined our experience.
Nothing. How the manager was unreachable for refund, couldn't bear another 2 nights.
Bed bugs. Could not sleep, the bugs ate us alive, after 4days I still have burning bites, ruined Paris for me. They're in the floor boards the walls and bed, literally some the size of a forth of a cent blood filled. Staff was rude and unhelpful& was not 'allowed' to contact manager for refund of last 2 nights we refused to stay in deplorable conditions. Other guests had bites all over too. Dirty. We found trash from precious guests under the bed, blood on the wall, and spray markings from pesticides. (They know they have a problem) also one usable shower for the entire hotel on the 2nd floor. Don't stay here! Should be shut down.
Location was good: you could take the metro line 1 straight to chatelet and other centrally located stations. Price was good as well.
There was only one shower in the facility and it was located at the first floor. There was no lock for the shared toilet that was shared between two rooms. The elevator worked at times. They were renovating rooms at the fourth floor, which caused a lot of noise and dust.
Hotel très vieux et pas propre . Very hold hotel and really Dirty .
no TV, no AC, no toliet door!
close to metro station
the light switch to our room was outside the room beside a shared bathroom so other people using the toilet would be turning our light on and off thinking it was the light switch for the toilet
Close to center of town. Restaurants near by
The facility was filthy every where. The room and bathrooms did not want to touch. Plastic covers on mattresses, mold, etc. Need I say more?
Rooms and hotel look like from horror movie, common shower only on 2 floors from 6
there were louses at the bed. I had to leave at the 3 o clock midnight. it was terrible ! we got illnesses
Just a Hotel to sleep not expect more, kindly staffs but Hotel is old
- only the price and the fact it is very close the metro station (Simplon)
- you have to pay for everything, like breakfast and wifi - only two showers for all the "Hotel" - also notice that if you by for 3 euros a 24 hour internet connection, it will work for one device only (if you have smartphone+laptop you have to pay 6 Euros!!!!!) - since the property of the Hotel has swithched to chinese people, the servise has deteriorated: less cleaninng, paying for wifi, price of all the types of rooms has increased (single, double, etc), while the quality of the service has decreased
Location and staff are okay
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything was awful, worst night in Paris.
near to metro
dont shair wc with bathrome
friendly hosts closeness to the metro station (2 min)
it's impossible to lock door to the bathroom, but it is not so crucial when you are living with your close friends/relatives
very kind staff
cleaning lady was very weird . had to go down stairs to use shower room .
