Pernes-les-Fontaines is a 15 minute drive away, nice village with a few nice shops (bakery, boutiques) and a weekly market. The closest (2km) village the property is Les Valayans with a bakery and a very nice grocery store. Isle sur la Sorgue is roughly the same distance as Pernes-les-Fontaines and has a LOT more to offer.

Very charming, very centrally located within Provence. Having never been to Provence, I worried we might be staying too far north. Nothing could have been further from the truth. the location was ideal. The town itself was more charming than I imagined. beautiful old walls, river walk and a wednesday evening fresh farmers market.

A fabulous town - interesting and really beautiful despite the fact that the fountains did not have water due to the drought conditions. We could have spent more time in the town and surrounds which are so very beautiful and we will come back when the fountains are working!

The bathroom was dreamy, with soothing yellow tiles and a most comfortable classic tub -- plus a delightful aromatherapy session from the wisteria on the balcony! Pure bliss! To top it all, the couple running the show is absolutely fabulous! Sophie & Maxime are welcoming, warm, engaging, and with a great sense of hospitality! It was a pleasure to chat with them during breakfast and dinner.
