Friendly staff Cleanliness of room Great location
Difficult to find especially when arriving at night
The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Our first room was not air conditioned and we had to switch rooms very late at night in order to have an air conditioned room. This was an inconvenience because everyone was so tired at this point. Also I think the hotel should provide face(wash) cloths not just towels.
service and location
I really liked how close it was to locations that I needed. Short walk from the train station, a short walk to the town center. Excellent staff reception.
Location but car parking at a premium . Short walking distance to central facilities. The fact that we stayed on a Sunday didn't help. Beaches of Normandy closeby with much nostagia
Room felt claustrophic. Decor adequate.
Functional if lacking charm.
Room had no view which was a shame as it was Bastille day and there were plenty of fireworks in town, all of which we could hear but not see!
parking is off site no one was at the desk at 7 am
Location close to train station, ferry pier and viator tour picked up there. Would be great for equestrians because arena across street.
Restaurant was not good, slow service, narrow menu.
The size of the hotel rooms. The hotel staff spoke English well.
Lovely breakfast! Rooms clean and large bathroom! Ideal stopover.
This was a very nice hotel in a location that was within walking distance to the center of town. There were lots of tourist sites and restaurants/cafes within a 15 minute walking distance.
The wifi constantly required that I log back in. Every time I left the hotel and returned or my phone went into sleep mode the wifi would request that I log back in. If was very frustrating but the wifi service was one that seemed to be shared by ALL Best Western hotels in France and we had the same issues with every one we stayed in.
Executive room with little extras, water, coffee machine, toiletries etc. good dinners in bistro attached to the hotel. Pleasant area but some walking to major sights.
Not much. The breakfast room was small and didn't cater well for a solo visitor (having to sit at a table for four). Parking garage is across street but reasonable price.
Restaurant staff not cooperative and food not up to standard
Booked online via booking.com. Breakfast onsite. Nice spacious room with large bed. Bathroom had a bath. Bar and bistro restaurant onsite.
Breakfast and Garage No luggage service or asked if I needed it
It's one of my favorite places to stay in Carn ad I have many happy mories there.
The staff was very helpful in arranging Taxi cabs and local restaurants and sites. The breakfast was very good.
Nothing it was all very good
Nice, bright room (superior), expresso machine, big, thick towels, excellent bed and linens.Good wifi.
No armchair -slightly surprising in a hotel of that category- small TV, little light; had to ask for the key to the fridge! small safe (not big enough for an Ipad. It's rather unpleasant to have to change the access code to the wifi every day.
Nice hotel in good location, and we were able to book last minute for one night during D-Day 70th anniversary.
We had booked a family room for 4 on-line, but when we checked in, a family room was not available. The hotel offered us two separate rooms at the same price, but they weren't adjoining (and we have two children, ages 11 and 9). It worked out okay, but was a little bit more of a hassle than we had anticipated. The positive is that the hotel gave us complimentary breakfast to make up for the mix-up. Wi-fi was also a little spotty at times in the room.
+ very friendly staff + quiet and accessible location, 15 min walk from down town shopping and dining + breakfast buffet + spacious room (studio), good covertible Not bad but too expensive
- bathroom rather old, fixtures loose, drain poor. - furbishing room rather old, carpet worn, no free wall sockets for chargers, poor lighting in 2nd floor (dark) room due to nearness opposite building. No room service on Sunday. All in all not bad but too expensive
I liked the location of the hotel. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make sure everything was satisfactory for myself and my traveling party. The rooms was on the smaller side but comfortable and cute.
I didn't like the location of the parking lot from the hotel. It was a little uncomfortable walking by yourself late at night from the garage to the hotel
The staff was amazing!
