Holiday Inn Express Montpellier - Odysseum    

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with a large bathroom. About 15 restaurants within 5 minute walk

Proximity to tram which brought me to centre ville and the Stade de la Mosson. The second bed in the room was a sofa type bed and was comfortable. The shower was very refreshing.

Breakfast was adequate.

The location in quote interesting half way from town, beach and airport.Close to the hotel there is a huge mall with some good restaurants for those that are not willing to drive.

The breakfast is poor but free.

Location, Location, Location. Great shopping area and well connected to the main toursit locations via Tram. Friendly staff, good choice of breakfast, and a reliable/fast WiFi.

Very helpful, caring staff, attention to detail excellent. Breakfast well presented , swift efficient service. Location perfect to the tram service into , and out of Montpellier. Well presented bedrooms, provide all facilities.

The sound level on the tv system set to low. Unable to move the volume higher than 15 on the controls. Difficult to hear the speech in the movies, in particular. The security door latch not aligned, unable to use it for security.

Great room... Warm, clean, nicely decorated. Tea and coffee in room :) Breakfast included :) 10/10

Service at the Irish bar over the road and the meal at the American style diner in the shopping centre near the hotel.

The staff has no idea what service to the customer is. I never got a wake up call though I requested it every evening. Answering yes sir is nice, doing it is better.

Good bed and great on-site parking.

The sound on the TV wasn't sufficient. The volume is capped at a point where I had trouble hearing it. (And there is nothing wrong with my hearing!)

Not able to open the window, therefore the room was stuffy. Duvet on the bed, therefore way too hot to sleep, had to take it out the cover eventually, despite having the air-con on. Very environmentally unfriendly. Beds very very firm, bordering on uncomfortable.

Good hotel according to Holiday Inn standards

Hotel staff refuse to accept the 5th person ( 3 year old kid) into 4 persons room, even we did not request additional bed. We were forced to book the second room .

Easily accessible by car, and easy to get into centre of Montpellier by tram.

It was close to the airport and centre of Montpellier. The hotel was clean and everything ran very efficiently with check in and check out. The room was also clean and modern.

We booked for a second stay on the way back from spain only to arrive at night to find no parking available which I was not advised to pre order rude staff not interested in anyway to help sort something out and a really bad attitude towards the british in general so had to carry on my journey and stay in a best western hotel which was ina diffrent league,also when we stayed the first time there was only frozen pizzas to eat what sort of hotel has no evening food discrace to the name holiday inn

We had booked for 2 and we arrived very late, so the kind and professional concierge Roman gave us a room for 4 people, as it was the only one left. We were luky, as the rooms for 2 are smaller. I liked the colours of the room, blue and gray, really relaxing. Everything is studied to help the traveller to rest. For example, there are different pillows, a softer one, and a stiffer one. The hair dryer is outside the bathroom, beside a large mirror, so while one is drying his hair, the other can use the toilet. The shower is big, and elegant, all in black. Eventually, the room was far more superior to those of an other very famous French hotel chain of the same level...

I didn't like the breakfast room, too little and cramped. There is not space enough among the tables. The machine which provides milk, coffeee, and hot water for the tea is very slow, so there was a long queue in front of it. I lost more than 5 minutes to wait for the water, and when I conquered my place, the water flowed down really slowly...The bread was pratically raw!!!! One had to cook it on the griill to eat it. .An other thing I didn't like is the check out hour at 11 A.M. instead of the 12 . When a traveller stops to rest, leaving at 11 is difficult, especially if one has to wait a lot to prepare a breakfast tea....

- located next to a tramway station (downtown is 15min away) - very friendly staff - nice pool - very good breakfast when compared to french hotel standards (the coffee was the best I ever had in a french hotel!)

I arrived late and left very early 5.30am the following morning. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and gave me breakfast at 5am. I will certainly recommend the hotel to others. Wish I'd been able to stay longer this time enjoy all the facilities. Christine Bell

The hotel is bright, modern and new, a 3 minute walk to the tram line which takes you into the centre of Montpellier. There is convenient onsite parking for 5 euros a day. The staff on reception were great and gave lots of helpful advice, especially the young man (who was actually a trainee), who was so personable and polite. The room itself was perfect, a good size, perfect temperature (a/c), and a lovely big shower and modern bathroom. If you are looking for comfort and top customer service, you won't be disappointed. Would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. When we mentioned a small issue, it was solved immediately. Family room was nice and clean. Very good location: close to a completely new area with lot of restaurants, a fantastic aquarium, and plenty of other facilities. Tram is close, but we visited the center of the city and the beaches by car. Parking is free or at low rates. Montpellier offers the ideal combination of nice beaches/swimming and city visit. Swimming pool in hotel is OK as well. I would certainly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Montpellier - Odysseum hotel.

Family room was nice and clean, but rather small for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was OK, but due to limited number of staff, at some moments not all food variety was available.
