Some of the staff were good, jean on night duty & an Austrian day manager. Hotel rooms we were given initially were small & ugly, then on request were given upgrades to more spacious & well decorated rooms, thanks to my mrs asking the above staff. Only real complaint was against the duty manager miss.Saskia who was abrupt rude & pushy. She refused to allow us as guests any benefit of the doubt & refused us a netting with the general manger. Even the phone number was denied. Lastly Saskia demanded an extra €100 per night for a sofa bed for my two year old infant girl. This in lieu of the fact a twin room was between €150-250 per night which we were paying in advance.

Excellent location to the Republique metro stop (~30 meters away). Good restaurants in the area. Nice room. Good hotel for families. Service of the club lounge during breakfast was poor.

There are only rooms with windows to Place de la République in the standard category, which means open windows = no sleep... So go for the more expensive club rooms in the courtyard.

Hotel is close to Subway, Room is clean and the breakfast is good. "Club Room" is a good choice, when you will book ask for this option as it´s an exclusive room that you can have breakfast during the morning and snacks, wine and beverages by end of the day (6-8 pm). There is no parking lot inside the hotel, you need to park in front of the hotel and get all your luggage then look for a place to park. Tried for 40 mins to find a place to park. There is a "p" parking in the street behind the hotel but the hotel employees did not informed to, even I´ve asked for directions. Employees and hotel hould have this in mind and provide proper information.

Clean, safe place to stay and a nice room. Some of the young male main desk staff could have extra customer service training to improve their attitude.

Great location, room are big, clean, cosy. Breakfeast 25 Euro is great. Large choice of eveything you need. All was good, but the Internet connection price was incredibly high. 20Euro a day, no discount for 3 day of 5 day pass. I stayed in the hotel for leisure and business purpose. I needed connection every day. I end up with 100 Euro bill just for Internet connection...

The price! Internet 18€ pr day, breakfast 25€ pr person. On the other side of the hotel, there are several cafés, with free internet and breakfast for 6€ pr person. We used the mini bar and a 1/4liter water costed os 6.50€, this is very expensive even in Paris.Even though we took the water under a night where all the Hotel was evacuated due to the fire alarm at 1:30 in the night, they were not willing to even to give a 1/4 liter of water or a discount. A situation which the hotel staff didn't handle very well.

My son was very I'll whilst we were at the hotel (not the hotels fault I point out) and the staff were very helpful, from arranging a doctor, to refreshing the room. This is a good hotel, in a very convenient location, 20 minutes walk to Notre Dame, and linked to 5 metro lines from a station less than 50 metres from the front door. Bedrooms are comfortable, and the courtyard facing rooms are very quiet. The Club facilities are super, and the Club lounge is a great place to chill at the end of a hectic day. It's a shame that of the 4 days there we spent 2 of them confined to the bedroom looking after our son, we would have liked to have seen more of the city and the hotel. However, it's a positive reflection on the hotel that we weren't completely stir crazy by the end of the stay!

The staff were friendly and the location was good. It very much felt like a hotel for business conferences and the make-up of the room was not as good as I would have expected for the price. I did not feel that the additional price for a "club room" was worth it, especially since our room was at the front of the hotel (on the road) and not facing the small internal courtyard.

It was centrally located to all the Metro stations which saves you a bundle on taxi fares. The area is filled with cafe's, restauarants and markets too. Noisy. You could hear all the street noise from the room I had. The breakfast at the hotels is a rip off! 25 Euros for coffee and bread is not worth it.

Central location Old and broken furniture, with no repair even if I asked. The breakfast is way too expensive and better to forget having dinner there. Go in any other restaurant.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
