Nice and friendly staff. Hotel located close to Univ Paris-Diderot. Nice bathroom. Good WLAN connection (persistently got 6Mbit download speed). Not mentioned on the website is a less expensive, reduced variant of the breakfast ("express breakfast") for only 7€ (did not try either, cannot judge quality of any).
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, some of these may already have been improved: Fee for the WLAN (even if it is a rather symbolic 1€/day) should not be these days, considering the room price. Dusty looking, non-removable shoeprints on the (wax-polished) flooring. Quality of furniture (esp. closet).
The hotel is very quiet. The room is rather big for Paris standards.
These are small things but not really acceptable in 4* suites hotel. No way to make coffee (apart from Nespresso machine if you happen to have capsules with you). No sharp knife, or a bowl in the kitchen. Air condition quite noisy.
Bed, room size
Really close to night life and shops. If you have your own transport, then it is literally one straight road to the Eiffel Tower
when booked, as an option I requested a double bed and a guided oral tour of Paris. However this was not provided to me. Also in the room, there was towels for one person even though I booked for two. I can not really say that it feels like a 4 star, there was nothing special about it.
small but everything is inclusive, clean and kindness
didn't find the AC so that whole night is hot, cannot open the window as noisy from outside
To have our right type of room Double Bedroom not Twin Warm welcome and being Polite to guests Trying to manage Guest requirement which is in same direction of their job
Repitation of NO to our request No wine glasses and no openner No tel answering in reception Dept No slippers No tel answer Twin instead of Double bed Exteremely poor quality of Mattress and bedding stuffs Noise pollution in midnight time due to heavy building construction in front of this Hotel Poor disconecting WIFI and horrible parking
I had a little trouble for checkout. They mistake me for other guy with similar name.
Modern room next tothe library F.M. A very convenient location and easy distance to city centre. Nicely equipped rooms.
My room had clear water damage. The "wodden" floor came loose and the plaster on one wall almost came off. This should have been repaired before making this room available for guests.
Under staffed Had to wait more than 30 min for checking in
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room size was also good. Near to Bibliotheque metro station.
Quality of room could have been better.
Good location, just 3 blocks away from Bibliotheque Mitterrand Metro station (on the excellent and modern line 14), and also a RER station. Peacefull and safe area of Paris. Yet still full of shops and restaurants for you to choose from. Double door between your bedroom and the corridor that completely prevented to hear the usual noise from other guests. Nespresso machine on the room. Well equipped kitchenette. They finally switched to WIFI instead of the unstable wired internet they had. It works very good.
Very unconfortable desk and chair if you need to work. Lack of courtain in the shower (the water ends up everywhere on the bathroom floor).
Car parking beneath hotel - transport options - staff - location - comfortable large beds - aircon - balcony - quiet rooms - fast free WIFI - near Carrefour - Starbucks & Pret a Manger near to hotel
Have to pay for Nespresso refills- surely two per room per day is possible ?!?
Location was good, room was nice.
Bath designed for someone at most 5ft tall.
The location is good for the Semi Marathon de Paris, and easy access to Metro (Gare de Lyon is 4 or 5 stops away). The room was very quiet, bed comfortable. Woman at reception on check-in was very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well and free.
This is my 2nd time staying here, and unfortunately my review is not as favorable as last time. This is not a four star hotel. The room is comfortable and could be so much better, but this particular one was very worn - peeling paint in some places on the walls (with black mould growing on the wall behind the door!) mould on the seals around the bath, sliding door of wardrobe was about to fall off and generally a bit tired. The last time our room was simple but at least clean - this was clean to the extent of what the cleaners could do, however as a hotel I would not rent out the room in that state - take it out of rotation and give it a quick re-paint! It didn't detract from my stay overall, as I was there to relax and recuperate, but I would perhaps think twice about staying there again as it just felt a bit worn and not worth the money.
quite helpful to show the routing ; one Saturday afternoon only 1 staff on duty still provided sincere assistance on handling the checking of lighting and arrangement of change room (+ve attitude and good service)
They tried to merge two mattresses into one bed but one of the mattresses was broken. Edges of the walls are damaged. Very disappointing on the overall neatness.
nice cosy apartment in paris, well maintained, friendly staff
No restocking of basic amenities, little far from centre but with metro close by it was fine. No stove for cooking.overpriced.
Paint falling off walls , showers broken, you basically have to clean yourself or you get charged: this was supposed to be a hotel. Safes are small and left loose in cupboard , someone can just carry the safe away. Hotels in central Paris offer better value for money. Won't recommend this to anyone...
Well located close to RER and Metro. Spacious family suite with small kitchen.
There was lots of space in the bathroom but there was just a simple shower without curtain, a toilet and a sink - no bathtube, no hooks for towels no furniture to put something.
Easy location with RER and metro next door.
Was expecting the room to be a bit bigger for the price but well put together.
Staff handled very well the mad woman I was with as she negotiated for a different room about 5 times
Staff should have said NO to the mad woman's constant and unreasonable requests for a different room. All were good enough in my opinion. Some rooms are looking a bit tardy and a lick of fresh paint would do well but otherwise great
