basic but clean. friendly staff and lovely manager who happily spoke english to me when i struggled with french! excellent location and it was no porblem returning to the hotel late at night. one computer with free internet in the reception area and one vending machine for drinks . on the second morning, i only got luke warm water from the shower. the bathroom could be better lit but it was bright enough to see that it was clean! i found the bed comfortable unlike some other reviewees and being short, the length was fine for me! a little expensive for what it is but guess you pay for the location. |

Location is excellent - couple of minutes away from St Michel-Notre Dame RER and subway station and equally distant from Maubert Mutualite subway station which offer easy access to whole of Paris and Airport. 5-10 minutes walk until Notre Dame, and same distance to Pantheon, 15 minutes to City Mayorship (Hotel du Ville). Louvre and Opera could be reached in 20-30 minutes walk. Tons of restaurants and grocery stores within max 5 minutes walking distance. I chose this hotel for its location and it was well deserving the price paid. Room was serviced and cleaned every day - including fresh towels. However, I wouldn't recommend it to you unless all you care is location. Rooms are very small and pricey (typical for french hotels). Furniture is overused. Walls are paper-thin so you can clearly hear all your surrounding neighbors showering, walking and even talking ! First 2 nights we couldn't fall asleep and during following nights we were waken up in the middle of the night by slammed doors, toilet flushes, etc. The slow and tired PC from the reception room often couldn't connect to the wireless network in order to provide the promised free Internet access. |

The hotel staff were helpful and gentle. The room was clean and it was cleaned again just after we left the room in the afternoon. We had to catch an early flight after the check out in the morning and the receptionist did his best to arrange a reasonable priced shuttle service for us. There was not a minibar in the very small room for three persons. The internet connection was not working and it could not be fixed immediately. The receptionist adviced us to go to a cyber cafe which was very close to the hotel. this was also a solution. we are not extremely positive about the conditions of the hotel but we are not negative at all. |

Home Latin was in a very convenient location in a quiet street. The breakfasts were adequate. The inside bedrooms are quite dark but not really a problem when you are out sightseeing all day. |

The best feature of this hotel was the location. The street that the hotel was situated was quiet, yet very near major attractions (Notre Dame). A major Metro/RER station (St. Michel) proximate to the hotel made getting around extremely easy. I really disliked the fact that this hotel advertised free WiFi, when this amenity did not work in my room. When I asked to be moved to a room where the WiFi worked, I was told that I would be charged extra. I was charged 5 euros for a breakfast that I thought was complimentary. Rooms were cold and did not have extra blankets. The shower drain was clogged. In general, the hotel feels like a hostel with nothing extra. |

The location of the hotel, the good service at the reception desk, and the availability of computer with internet access. The room was rather dark and the furnishing and bath room a bit primitive |

Staff response was good. Hotel complete location i.e. nearest metro / bus station should be mentioned in the address to trace it easily. |

The hotel is in a silent street close to a Metro station and the quatier latin and the room was quite beautyfull. Our room was rather clairaudient - luckyly our only neighbours were silent people. Furthermore the room had a really poor illumination. |
