“very, very bad hotel, dirty, old, smelly furniture, careful !” old old old hotel , is not 4 star is like 1 star ,,
I was in Paris just for 2 days with my brother Althought we hadn't time to visit all places in paris but we spent 2 hours to take a shower because the hot water prussur was too poor and broken Also 1 of the heater didn't work We were not happy during the firest day
This it hostel not 4 star hotel
Everything was perfect. Will definately go back there again!
Staff room quality flexibility and price
Location was good. It was in centre. 2 minites walk to champ ElyséesParis.
Not at all 4 star. Very small room and lift was so small than only 2 people could go at once. We needed a mattress they dint have.we asked for quilt instead that wasn't available as well.hotel is very small. No tea coffee system. Not a good stay for value of Money.
Just near to the city ..
Expensive hotel for nothing.. It is look like 2 stars not 4 stars ..
The location is perfect
I specially asked to not be credited with my visa. A 6pm, the staff didn't see, so, by "precaution" they credited the card.. They didn't call me before doing it.
This is the worst hotel I ever visited. I strongly doubt it is a 4 star hotel; not even a 2 star. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and don't me misleaded by the pictures; the hotel and staff are terribly bad.
Only its location
Toilet is not clean ,room is too to tight ,furnture is old , lighting is poor
Location is perfect for 80 Euro - one night stay.
Carpets are all worn out and dirty. Its not a 4 Star hotel as advertised.
The location was very close to Champs Elysee
It was difficult to find as it is called L'Orst hotel not george washington, bed was old and worn, shower was disgusting and mouldy, reception carpets were horribly stained everywhere, reception looked makeshift, bedroom was worn out, dirty walls, stuffing was coming out of chair in bedroom. They also charged me the first night as a gaurantee when my booking confirmation said I wouldnt be. Then when I got to the hotel they charged the full amount on check in to the same card with out asking or notifying me whilst still holding the gaurantee. At this point I still havent got the gaurantee back.
blood on wall disgusting staff
Man at the reception was friendly.
* room was noted as non-smoking at the internet, but is was definitely a smoking room * room was noted as noise-free at the internet, but this was not the case at all * curtains were broken (Velux-window) * whole room smelled bad * definitely not worth 4 star-rating at all !! * everything was old and needed urgent renovation
The hotel still has old name signs, probably from another name they use to have. The lobby is good but some of the hotel staff are poor and barely know what to do. The lift is very small and can fit one person at a time. The room is good but had very old appliances. The TV didn't work even after the technician came. The hair dryer doesn't dry and the pillows are uncomfortable. The Internet is VERY slow and I couldn't catch signal from everywhere in the room.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel I think is aware about the fact that it's condition is kind of run down and offers excellent incentives in order to make up for it. Free pay TV (ok on this occasion it didn't work but the movie selection was great and had I spent more time in my room I definitely would have loved to take advantage of this), a massive air conditioner (which unfortunately was a bit noisy but worked wonderfully which was great due to the fact it was very hot in Paris), a free safe in the room, free WiFi internet and a PC located near the reception area equipped with a printer which is also free for the guests to use - this came in very handy when I had to print my bus ticket. The location also is ideal and just off Champs Elysees, near the subway and in an area I felt ok in wandering on my own. Unfortunately though it seems that the taxis seem to like this street during the night and it therefore was impossible to sleep with an open window. For the purpose of my stay and the things that were important for me during this trip I found the hotel was able to satisfy and match my criteria. I would recommend this hotel but would be sure to communicate all important details in order for the person's criteria to be met.
I've read a couple of the other reviews and ok, fair enough, they do make some valid points but things like the teeny-tiny elevator are things that, although would be better if it were larger, cannot be helped due to the nature of the building and that's just the way things were built in those days. The hotel is a bit run down and unfortunately so because it could really be amazing if it were renovated. I can see how it once was considered a 4* hotel and as to the comment of another review regarding the furniture being tasteless I wouldn't agree with this - that's just what was in style at the time. Because of the age some elements of the room felt a bit uncomfortable even though it was very clean. Things like the carpet, closet and tiles in the bathroom which unfortunately become... well you know how it is when things are aged. The bed was perfectly comfortable and sheets were clean so this did not affect my sleep at all, which is the most important thing in a hotel.
In centre paris
It says 4 star on booking.com But actually it is not even 3 star
We had a lovely time staying in the hotel
I was charged for drinks from the refrigerator which we did not have. I put a bottle of water into the fridge and removed it immediately. I discovered I was charged €6 for it in my bill. I felt the receptionist should have discussed additional charges with us.
