Good service, nice employees

We liked the countryside location, the pool and sauna, the poximity to Colmar and the convience of the location from the motorway.

We booked a "Romantic Double room" on the website and were given a twin room on arrival. The staff were not very helpful or friendly when we asked for a double bedded room. They kept saying that a booking for a "Romantic Double Room" was for 2 people and didnt mean double bed it could be a double or twin. The Hotel is very tired looking needs to be redecorated and a thorough deep clean of the public areas.

A cosy comfortable hotel in the lovely Alsace wine region. Two excellent restaurants on site. An indoor pool which looked very inviting, pity I didn't take my swimming things. Good on site parking.

I enjoyed the opportunity to relax in the Hotel spa complex after long hiking trails in the nearby countryside. Also the beautiful city of Colmar was very close.

The staff was wonderful and very accomodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The children enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was very very good. Our party included people from 5-75 and the hotel met the needs of all ages. Very easy access to Colmar and the highway. I would definitely stay there again and not hesitate to recommend it.

We had a problem with settling the payment at the reception with mastercard when checking-out allegedly because of "code faux" although the PIN was given correctly. The same happened to my wife who tried to pay with her mastercard and we had to pay cash. It has been very embarassing. The receptionist told us "there was nothing wrong at their side" but later on during the same day we made payments with mastercard at other places with no problem.

We go on holiday to Zwitserland. Its a nice stay after 550 km. The restarautn with one star is very good. With the reservation we have asked for a reservation in the restaurant but the company did not informated the restaurant.

Lovely hotel. Choice of two restaurants. Good location for us as we were travelling through from motorway. The actual town was very nice, lovely old buildings.

Very good price-quality ratio. My ratings take account of the low price (We paid eur 40 a night for two persons). There were a lot of additional services (E.G. swimming pool) available at no costs, that we couldn't use, since we were too tire, so I am not able to evaluate on them. The hotel is very clean with a classy appearance and located at the entrance of a roustical winegrowers' village. Ideal if you arrive by car. Parking in front of the hotel is limited, but plenty of space available at a nearby parking lot and along the street. In Western Europe you would expect to pay much more. The receptionists are at least tri-lingual (French, English, German). Very quiet. I often use earplugs, but here no need at all. Romantic landscape and setting. We based our decision to choose this hotel based on the comments on this site, and I have to admit that they are correct. Thanks to all of those. Conclusion: For budget travelers like us we would at this price (eur 40) certainly choose this hotel again!!

Ich kenne das Hotel seit ca. 30 Jahren. Am besten Gefallen und am meisten beeindruckt bin ich, dass das Hotel die Infrastruktur wesentlich verbessert und nachgerüstet hat und so wie es aussieht viel Geld dazu investiert hat. Die Public-Räume sind schön gestaltet worden, ebenso die Fassade, die früher anders aussahen. Das weiss man zu schätzen, ebenso die freundliche Bedienung.
