It's a super hotel, with excellent facilities and secure parking which is important. Ideally situated for seeing the city. Very nice people and a great breakfast.

Double bed too short for 6ft 2in tall man.! Quite simple styling ..but at that price, you don't expect gold plating. Ok for a night or two, but not a long stay.

Breakfast was poor

We needed somewhere generally in this area for an overnight stop on a long and having been to Beaune before thought it would be nice to stay near the town if I could find anywhere with parking for our high vehicle - which is always the problem and why we nearly always stay far out of towns. The hotel is a very short walk into the town centre, and has a large number of rooms both in the main building or set around the courtyard parking areas - which provide simple accommodation with easy access (no stairs to the garden rooms). We were kindly given a room with a bath as we had driven for 8 hours non stop so was in the main building, and our room was perfect for us. I notice a previous comment about having to pay for wifi - but at 3 euros for 24 hours this is negligible and due to the layout of all the rooms is probably not an easy thing to provide, so we were more than happy to pay extra for this as we had to work when we arrived, and a good fast connection is preferable to a weak or non-existent one you can find in some hotels that offer it for free. We didnt hang around for breakfast as we had another long day ahead, but we will definitely use this as our stop over base now we know there is a car park we can fit in. However if like us you are in a high vehicle - be aware that you can only access the first car park - as the other larger parking areas are under an archway that is probably 2m in height - we were lucky in that there was one tight space left in the first area - so if you are in a higher vehicle best to call ahead and let them know. I mentioned this upon checkout and the manager was more than happy to save a place in the first area if we call when we return - which we definitely will be doing. For location, friendly staff and a good clean room this ticks all the boxes.

One of the rooms we had was a bit smelly. It is a simple hotel, but good value.

We stayed for one night only so the hotel's position just outside Beaune's inner ring road was very important. There is no restaurant but the hotel supplied map and recommendations, one of which we were happy to take up. Breakfast was served in the hotel, and while not the best I had on holiday, it was perfectly adequate. The room was clean, reasonable sized and with a fairly comfortable bed.

There was planty of parking space, but the space was not too well planned so I finished parking a little further from my room than ideal. Given that I am elderly, had a first floor room and there was no elevator, this I could have done without.

Staff was really friendly and helpful! She had good advice about restaurant!

In the "standard twin room", it was really noisy! We were able to hear every single car on the street!!

Quiet and free parking and wifi

we stayed here for one night on our way back from the south of France and found it to be an ideal stop over, helpful staff, convenient location near to the town center, good sized room, secure parking.

Great location, in walking distance from the centre of town. Has all the services of a hotel, however you feel as though you are part of the "quaint" setting of Beaune. Great atmosphere and great, great, hospitality and everyone who works there is really friendly.

Conveniently located for a stop over on the way to the South of France near to motorway. Large sized room- accomadated our family (2 adults plus 2 teenage children)

The place to BEAUNE and the transit for us / 1 day

Beaune is a very charming village!

Carpets is not something I would recommend. Smelled that smokers had stayed there before.

The friendly, efficient service was excellent. It was only a short walk to the town centre and amenities.The parking was excellent offering complete safety for our car overnight and we did not have to empty it of all our luggage.

Great place to stay. We only stayed one night but it was great, staff wonderful.

We stayed here last year when travellin back to the UK. We booked again to stay at the Hostellerie because we were rn to n eally impressed and didn't mind staying there again for our trip back down to South of France. We stayed in one of the garden/patio rooms. 3 people + a toddler. Very comfortable and spacious, no complaints.

The WiFi could be free rather than paying a fee. Most hotels nowadays have free WiFi!

Hospedaria is well located to acess the old city or to drive around. Its is easy to find, just on a exit from the ring road that circles the city. Our lodging experience was not great though: first night we arrived in the city by train and stoped to have diner at the restaurant of the hotel right across (very recomended!). It was open past 9pm besides what my guide book had said about everything closing realy early. When we finaly got to the hotel, we were given the second room from the street (it was not as noisy as I'd expected). I asked about the noise and the guy just said: "It's the last one. You booked for eur59, right?" - it was right but not polite for my taste. Anyway, Frenchs are peculiar... Just embrace the experience! As for the room, it was quite nice and the noise from the road just started in the morning (my husband didn't even notice any). Well, for the second day I hade paid more, so the guy decided it was fair to give me a suposedly better room: it was smelling real badly, and I felt sick from my allergy all night long (no noise though). Breakfest was as everywhere else: some juice (natural), cereal, yogurt, cheese/ham and bread. Hany but not worthy the almost standard eur9,50. Here was the only place we tryied the breakfest: all the other places we stayed either had breakfest included or we fixed our own yogurt, fruit, bread, orange juice and chesse form the closest Casino, than eur1,30 at the machine on the road and voila! I could stay here again, but not on the smelly room (do not remember the number, but decoration was black&white, second floor across from the pateo where they serve breakfest).

Strong smell in the room. Fatal for allergic people like me...
