The hotel had a lovely ambiance and was beautifully furnished. The Patron was a delight during dinner, explaining the menus and dishes in great detail. The food was good and the desserts to die for. We had a lovely time and would certainly stay again. Hardly a complaint really. We booked a superior roomwith a shower. The roomwe had had a bath with a shower head on the and no hook on the wall, or shower curtain. On the notice on the door was described as 'comfort', Having said this, the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our weekend and would go again if in that region.

Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and his wife who went out of their way to ensure that our stay was memorable As it turned out we had to cut our stay by a day for family reasons. This was not a problem for them.. The restuarant was a gourmet experience. We opted for demi pension as there did not seem too many restuarants around the locality which were open. What a wise choice! Memorable meals all cooked by the owners wife. Very varied and generous and the winw list! - 3 days could not possibly do justice to the wide selection of regional wines in the hotel's cellars. We opted for the 'superior room' which was small but adequate and clean and no doubt if we had paid more we would have got a better room. But apart from the welcoming mein of 'mine hosts' it was the wonderful restuarant and quality of food which is the hotel's selling point for us. We will visit again for sure. They are supposed to have good food but we didn't eat there. What I didn't like is that they are closed daily from 12 to 3 pm and they do not say this in their advertising. They say check-in is from 3 to 5 pm but make no mention of whent they are closed. They get really crabby if you mention this to them. If they list the closure time I would recommend it.

The hostellarie de la bouriane is one of the finest family owned boutique hotels we have stayed in. The level of elegance, comfort and discreet but ever present service was exceptional. Meals were a gastronomic experience, the level of presentation, quality and range of the menu, and professionalism of the staff would do credit to a five star Michelin establishment. Beautiful place, very nicely decorated, clean rooms and modern bathroom. The host was attentive as was the service in the formal dining room. The food was very good. This hotel is definitely a good value. And we pleasantly surprised to learn about the cave paintings very close by, with no crowds, and well worth seeing.

Mathais the family run receptionist / head waiter was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, choice of local wines (not by price) flexible menu, the best drive for sightseeing and all with courteous humour. We originaly booked for a one night stop over - but stayed for two nights. The continental breakfast is strongly recommended for its detailed content. A definate gem.....

L'accueil et la disponibilité sont parfaits tant à la réception qu'au restaurant. Notre chambre suffisamment spacieuse, bien meublée et très propre était également très calme bien que donnant sur la rue. Le restaurant est de qualité et les possibilités de stationnement sont diverses et d'accès aisé. Une adresse à fréquenter avec plaisir.

Parking gratuit devant l'hôtel Petit déjeuner annoncé comme continental, mais garni et de qualité Personnel impeccable Si vous arrivez en vous basant sur un GPS, marquez d'abord "Centre ville", puis lorsque vous y êtes "Place du Foiral". Ne mettez pas directement "Place du Foiral" sinon vous risquer des ennuis. Mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'Hotel

Le cadre et joli, les chambres spatieuses et confortables,le personnel et la direction très professionel. Des menus très interessants, qualités des produits proposés avec leurs saveurs du terroir d'une grandes finesses. Je recomenderai "le tournedo rossini". Tres grande carte des vins a des prix abordables Je reviendrai avec plaisir dans cet hotel de charme. Bonne annee 2012 a tous.

La tradition française du bien recevoir ... à 1000 lieues des établissements formatés des grandes et petits chaînes hôtellières Notre (trop court) séjour fut un réel plaisir ! Accueil, personnel : très bien. Chambre et salle de bain : très bien. Dîner : un moment de pur bonheur. Belle carte de produits frais, bien cuisinés, bien présentés. Nous avons profité des suggestions 'cèpes' (plusieurs viandes: agneau, canard, veau, boeuf, et coquilles st jacques). Magnifique carte de vins à prix raisonnables, belle sélection d'alcools. Bien que nous soyons arrivés très en retard, le petit- déjeuner, copieux et bon, nous a été servi en terrasse avec le sourire. Nous retournerons dans ce magnifique endroit.

un hotel a l environnement agreable,au calme lacueil tres bien ,chambres rehabilitees et propres chyambres sous les toits pas ters grandes ,la salle de bains tuyauterie deficiente ecoulement difficile robinetterie defectueuse ,insonorisation insuffisante ,enfin pas de climatisation pour un 3 * 25 km de sarlat

L'albergo è in una posizione molto tranquilla, a due passi dal centro di Gourdon. Eccezionale la colazione del mattino, ricca di prodotti di alta qualità. Comodissimo il parcheggio pubblico gratuito, antistante l'hotel. La connessione wi-fi non funziona in camera ma solo nella hall.

Rustig gelegen. Kamer was vrij klein, beetje oubollig. Lampje in nachtlampje veel te fel. Haardroger in badkamer werkte niet. "Continentaal" ontbijt was geen 13€ waard, geen vers geperst fruitsap, 2 potjes confituur en 1 natuuryoghurt per persoon. Geen eitje of ham/kaas.
