We both really enjoyed staying at your hotel,the staff were both nice and helpful(espicially with translating the french menu) it might help if it was in english.Over all it was a very pleasant experiance and look forward to seeing you again on 3rd May 2010.Thank you for forwarding my wifes mobile phone which she left in room 25. |

The hotel had a very pleasant ambiance - it seemed very grand for the 2 star rating shown on the gate. We didn't understand that at all! It felt far more like a 3 or even 4 star. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The evening meal was an absolute pleasure. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room, though small, had a lovely view over the grounds. The breakfast excellent and plentiful. We wished we were staying longer and will very definitely return. We thought it excellent value for money. We would have liked additional pillows in the room and we had only one bath towel, not two. However, these were provided promptly on request. |

The staff - they were extremely friendly and good-humoured. And they gave us a very pretty room with 4-poster bed, which I liked much. The bathroom - even though perfectly clean - but there was no shower curtain, it was impossible to shower without half-flooding the room |

A lovely warm welcome, very comfortable and wonderful food. We highly recommend this one and handy for short trips across the channel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. |

Typical French hotel. Lovely, quiet country location yet close to seaside and handy for ferries. Food good if rather limited choice and somewhat heavy by modern standards. Very good value breakfast and WiFi. |

This is a very good 2* hotel. Staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Well located with easy access to surrounding area and only 30mins from channel tunnel. Dinner menu and restaurant excellent. Breakfast adequate but basic and perhaps more variety could be included. |

The meals were very expensive with a limited choice of courses. The breakfast was very poor and unhealthy. No choice, no fruit, no cereals (eg muesli), and meagre portions (eg orange juice). One really expects a buffet with choice these days (compare IBIS hotels - much better). |

the food was exquisite,the staff were of the highest order,we lost a neckless down the back of the bed and they dismanted the wall for us,they are allways happy and plus they speak good english the bedroom although large and very quiet, was a bit spartan,the rest of the hotel was starting to look a little bit unloved,if it were mine it would need a fair bit of updating,and i am a hotel owner ,it is also somewhat isolated,and you need to drive to get anywhere,but the food and friendlyness make up for nearly anything |

the evening meal in the restuarant was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and attentive. parking good and easy to find from main road. the room was tired and dated but bathroom was good, needs updating , but bed was comfortable and room was functionable. |

Very peaceful location but within easy reach of Boulogne & coast. The staff were charming and the restaurant superb. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but rather faded. Tv high on wall was small and not easy to view. |

The proprietors were most welcoming and the food was excellent. The hotel certainly has an 'eighties' feel as described but this was not detrimental to our stay. We ate in some good quality restaurants in Reims and Epernay during our stay in France and the evening meal here was by far the best. We met two other couples who were impressed by the ambiance of the place and we decided it is a well kept secret so go there by all means but don't tell everyone about it! |
