Classic chateau hotel in famous wine area at a sensible price. Good restaurant amazing wine list and totally peaceful with great views south over vineyards. Recommended.

The setting of the hotel is beautiful, on the hill top in the middle of wine fields. It's a pleasantly tranquil location as roads are in a right distance so you do not hear cars. The hotel does not have a feeling of a french chateau, and even it's not so old as you can imagine from the pictures. The interior design and rooms are renovated in a modern stile but miss nice details and attention therefore making finally quite an average hotel impression. The WiFi supposed to be in the rooms on additional charge but finally the signal was so bad that it was impossible to connect to internet and the stuff was not able to do anything during all our stay.

The hotel's got beautiful vineyard view from the rooms, although our room "classic" didn't really have that great of a view, didn't know that until we got there. But still wondeful, dinner outside of the castle was great, enjoyed it a lot. It would be better if we could stay a bit longer to find out more. Location is quite far, even though only 30 minutes drive specified we took awhile to finally get there.

It is a very relaxing atmosphere. We were there during the harvest season, and the vineyards were just gorgeous. Excellent scenery. Unique rooms. We had to upgrade our room because the "classic room" was tiny and felt like it belonged to the maids. Don't consider the Classic room as an option.

The setting is beautiful and the rooms are beautiful. Very comfortable accomodations. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. The restaurant is quite expensive and does not offer may choices. .This would be important to know for a family with young children.

Great location, lovely setting. Having our own ramparts to regard the view from was amazing! A little but spoiled by less than excellent service in the restaurant in the evening which was a shame as otherwise everyone else was great. Dinner itself was ok but nothing special.

Staying amongst the vines of Chateauneuf du Pape was idyllic Unfortunately we chose it as it is supposed to be a quiet place (relais du silence) and it was far from that : families with children were quite loud and disturbing probably because it is not a great place for children to stay either : not a child friendly pool and no child friendly menu.

This was exactly what we wanted - the stay was brilliant, such a beautiful place. if you are going to Chateauneuf Du Pape you must stay here it is stunning!!!!! Dinner was great - so good we had the same starter and main course 2 days running!!!!!Loved it

The castle itself is magnificient. The surrounding vineyard views are stunning. We agreed to upgrade the room as deluxe double room with a private terasse and direct access to pool was great for us with small children.

Very friendly owner, great room and fantastic food. The architecture and location in the middle of the vineyards is simply .... perfect! Grand Avignon Golf Club is not far away.

La beaute exterieure du chateau ,mais c'est tout ! Vraiment decu pour un 4 etoiles ! douche plus petite que dans un 2etoiles avons sejournes dans la region dans3 hotels 3 etoiles qui etaient tous meilleurs! Gastronomie peu enthousiaste ! tres decu !.

L'accueil par le jardinier seulement. La chambre est quelconque. L'accueil inexistant. La salle d'eau réduite à un petit corridor. L'invasion de coccinelles durant la nuit. Le petit déjeuner très nettement insuffisant pour 17 euros. Le parking réduit à trois voitures...

Le cadre est grandiose. Vue imprenable depuis la piscine. Très bon accueil de la part des gérants et du personnel. Chambre petite. Il s agit d un manoir du 19eme, ce n est pas un château.
