The menú proposed in the gastronomic restaurant and the swimming pool...
Slow service in the restaurant despite the number of waiters...
The restaurant was stunning.
No window in the room only a double door leading out to a pathway
Pool and dinner service were good. Sommelier truly eccentric and fun.
Bad smell from compost on the vines.
The bathroom was big and news.
The room are grotty, staffs not really welcoming, location not ideal. the corridor of this hotel are a perfect setting for every horror movies!
Pool Magnificent wines superlative menu and dinning experience
the dinner was exellent and the Service in the Restaurant also
it is just a Little bit old Fashion. The interior shut be new desgined.
Comfortable bed Excellent food Private parking
A little expensive in the restaurant
Gourmet cuisine excellent wine list and chef. Great for touring the Region. Staff speak English well and patiently listened to our attempt at French.
Well designed comfortable bedroom overlooking pool. Hotel felt well run and very stylish. Really excellent dinner and good buffet breakfast next day.
Quite a trek to our room and no signs to reception to get back to bar! We had a wonderful dinner but service was slow as there was an important local wedding at the hotel. Otherwise a delightful stay.
Meal, swimming pool and excellent location for our purposes.
Bed not that comfortable
The dining room staff were very friendly and the food was good.
The rooms were grotty and it was strange that the more expensive rooms had the nastier bathrooms. Cheap plastic cups in the bathroom and cheap soaps. Old carpets. The wine menu was bizarre and totally out of context with the hotel. Most wines were well over 100 Euros a bottle which is stupid and not often seen in top 5 star hotels in London. I thought the whole place was no better than mediocre.
We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. We received a warm welcome and the member of staff knew we had stayed at the hotel before.
The rooms are a little tired.
The Food. The staff were very nice indedd.
Plastic undersheet on the mattress.
The food and the location
Great staff, good meal
Car park a bit awkward to find in the dark!
Great welcome, not least for our two little dogs. Room a trifle dowdy but very comfortable with excellent shower. Dinner superb, perfect ris de veau - although scallops (served on a Monday) gave me food poisoning, partly my fault because I did for a moment think I caught a whiff of less than perfectly fresh. We remain impressed! Breakfast also excellent.
A good although expensive wine list, yet without any provision for keeping the wines at anything above cellar temperature - which in January, was cold enough to wreck a good Bordeaux. The sommelier just shrugged.
Manager very helpfull, changed our rooms from poor to super ones in the anex.
With the exception of the Manager and the Senoir Wine Waiter the staff did not smile and looked miserable.
