Close proximity to the town centre. A warm welcome from the proprietor. Delightful walled garden and pool. Typical French decor. Easy parking. Useful having wifi in the room.

Would have liked a refrigerator in the bedroom. The bedroom seating did not consist of easy chairs.

Extremely Friendly staff, Beautiful rooms, excellent location in the heart of the old town.

This hotel is a find, a family owned and run hotel in the charming town. And don't miss the side garden and swimming pool if you're there in warm weather. They are pciture perfect and unique to have that in town. We'd love to return some day.

Katia did everything to make us really comfortable and all 4 of us wished we could have stayed there longer. The easiest way to tell what I liked best is to list: a). the canoe company on the Vezere is 1/2 block away. b). the town of Montignac is outside the door, and we planned . our visit to overlapp Market day c) Katia acquired our tickets to the Lascaux caves so we didn't have to stand in line. d). The restaurant and the pool were very well done, making full use of the grounds to their best advantage.

The staff and manager are very friendly and very professional. Lovely hotel with a very large garden (with fruit trees),a field for poneys, a great swimming pool, and mostly absolutely stunning food. The wine list looked very nice as well and Charles, the Swiss manager, has loads of great advice (to complement food and wine) and seems to speak fluently several languages (german, french, english). Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Location is great. Very secluded, in the countryside and close to many sites to visit in the Perigord noir.

I would probably say that this is more of a couple place for adults than for family. The staff were very attentive and friendly towards our daughter, but you can feel that other clients are here to enjoy the silence and the secluded atmosphere and don't want to hear or see young children. I would also say that the food is very nice and elaborate (since this is very much a wonderful gastronomic hotel restaurant), hence a bit lost on children. My suggestion ? a children menu !

The property was absolutely picturesque-flowers, grounds and pool. The owner was so helpful in getting us tickets for the nearby cave tour plus showing us around the property. Dinner was amazing as well. We'd come back any time!

Katya and Thierry were extremely welcoming and helpful. They have a genuine desire to please and are enthusiastic about their part of France. It wasn't warm enough for us to brave the pool but others looked as though they were enjoying it and the gardens are divine. Room was adequate and comfortable and well decorated in the "Rose" theme.

Unfortunately, we didn't realise until we got home that our booking form and price included breakfast but the bill charged us extra for the two breakfasts. Do check your bill at the end. This has happened to us before in a UK hotel but fortunately we noticed before we paid.

The staff was friendly. The toiletries provided were very nice. There was a space heater in the bathroom. The towels were thick and fluffy. The breakfast was extensive and worth the extra euros. The closet contained many shelves. The view of the garden and river was very nice. There was adequate parking.

It was a little difficult to locate and required navigating very narrow streets.

Hotell med mycket karaktär och tradition i en fantastisk miljö. Personalen levde upp till detta och hann dessutom också skapa en personlig stämning. Dessutom överraskade hotellet med ett frukostbord som inte lämnade något i övrigt att önska.

Geweldige keuken en prachtige tuin. Hierin dineren was een feest op zich.

Kamer was beperkt.

уютный, старинный дом замкового типа, имеет свою индивидуальность и шарм.

отсутствие кондиционера. были в середине августа, жара 38, а работает только вентилятор. мы решили, что в таком старом доме просто нет возможности это сделать.
