The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Loved the old staircase and restaurant. Good location in the town.

Bathroom poor - door did not close properly and very odd toilet roll dispenser, ended up buying a roll of paper ourselves. Room was noisy at night but probably our fault as we had windows open because it was so warm. Also no mirror except in the bathroom which was too low for my husband.

The hotel was cheap and the parking garage was fairly close. The staff was also very friendly.

However, the hotel itself as well as the rooms seemed very dirty. The pictures I had seen wee nothing like the actual cleanliness. There was no air conditioning and the air flow was pretty disappointing. Although this was not the hotels fault, my fiancé and I were woken up by construction, which attributes to the poor location.

The hotel and restaurant were excellent. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in both French and English. There is a small hotel parking lot adjacent to the hotel.

Not being able to stay longer.

Location was terrible if you need any kind of public transportation.... Wifi did not work and staff did nothing to resolve the issue. Breakfast "buffet" was a joke for what it cost! Stairs difficult to navigate, no lift. Poor excuse for a hotel.

We found Hotel St Martin quite last minute, whilst searching online for a B & B convenient for the Normandy Beaches. We were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful, the room clean and spacious, and food very good. Lots of interesting history in the building itself and in the local area.

    Nothing to dislike really

Nice bathroom with a good shower. Bed was quite comfortable.

The room overlooked a busy road that became noisy from early morning.

Location good for the Grotto and Church. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Tacky tourist trinket sales in town.

Lovely little town, the hotel is part of a historical building surrounding a chateau. We stayed here while visiting Normandy and Bayeux, before heading to Mont St. Michel. The restaurant was fabulous, popular with locals and a great value of the money. a grocery store is practically across the street.

The bed was not the most comfortable, but the room was charming.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Ideal for our overnight stay in the area. Restaurant was good value for money - the inclusive menus in particular.

The only problem was that our room (overlooking the main street) was very warm. We were unable to turn down the radiator, as were the staff! We slept with the window open which was quite noisy!

A perfect place to stay for visiting the D Day beaches. Creully itself is an attractive village with shops and bars. The food is very special and the dining room was, centuries ago, the covered market for the village

We had stayed in the Saint Martin by chance last year on an overnight stop on way to South Brittany. We were so impressed by the excellent and value for money dinner that this year we decided to return this time during a cycling trip from Cherbourgto Le Havre. We had a lovely room bright overlooking the square, attetive and courteous service from the owners and once again a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. we didn't have breakfast in the hotel and realised we had been rude not to tell the owner of this, not understanding that it is presumed that residents will take breakfast .We apologise for this. A most enjoyable stay . Thank you.

Well nothing in the scheme of things but if being picky the orange and yellow paint on stairs and room is not in keeping with the old and beautful building.

Lovely hotel, we had the family room which was very spacious compared to some. 2 double beds and a single bed tucked round the corner. I recommend that if you aren't planning to have breakfast in the hotel, then take a travel kettle with you for that all important coffee in the morning! There is a boulangerie in the village and a Spar type shop so all you need is available. Centrally placed but the village is very quiet and with the exception of the hotel, there is a pizza place but very little else to choose from for places to eat. Hotel food was amazing but expensive if following a budget. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was very rustic and typically French - a lovely stay.

If you want somewhere a little more central or a little busier, then this village isn't for you - a very limited choice for meals out so you have to drive everywhere (either Bayeux, Caen or Arromanches). They could dust a little more in the rooms but aside from that, a really lovely little hotel.

We have stayed several times, having discovered it by accident once when we were lost. The restaurant is amazing, a vaulted ceiling and good choice of menus. It's in a good position, close to the ferry, not too far to the beaches and near Bayeux for the tapestry. Caen is also worth a visit.
